I hope we wear face masks against these rabid [censored]

Should be a handy win

I'm hoping that we are so F*c$ed off about the loss that we should have won last week that the anger is channelled with laser accuracy and we give absolutely no mercy. I expect it will be an absolute bloodbath.

Just arrived in Sapri, a beautiful small Italian seaside town south of the Amalfi coast.

Game time here is 0720h.

Just hoping we bring the effort of last week coupled with some accurate kicking.

I don't need to endure a fortnight of 'what the f**k is going on'.

GAMEDAY!!!

We go into this match knowing we almost beat Collingwood and that’s a ton of collective confidence right there.

The Mighty Dees by my boy Luker (44pts)

GIVE ‘EM HELL DEES!!!

I’m currently at the airport having a vodka and whatever with Pauline Fritta..

Look out Adelaide! Here we come!!!

It's going to be a tough battle

I reckon we lose a close one. And kick more behinds than goals. That seems to be the way we roll

Alternatively, some kossie magic might be enough get us over the line.

Go dees

We should be too talented and too solid behind the ball for them. Just mind Butters and put a bit of work into JHF and we'll get it done easily.

dont peak to early my p***Ed little sheet rack and lead Pauline astray

It’s game day baby. Pumped!

Important game for both clubs but we will win this. Ken Hinkley must be a magician because Port always disappears when it matters.

Go Dees!

I'm in Adelaide, hopefully conditions should be ok, was bucketing down yesterday but seems to have cleared. If we bring the effort from Monday we win, Dees by 15.

If we can come within a point of beating C’wood (with all the assistance they were gifted), Port shouldn’t pose too many problems.

So long as we bring the true Demon Spirit, we’ll win by 5 goals or so ❤️💙

If we don’t, well that could be a different story.

But we will, and that’s that!!!

Me lead her astray?!!! It’s the other way around. Actually we’re as bad as each other. Luckily Scott Frittata - aka the sensible one - is here to rein us in 😅

Yeah has to start today really.

Tell her boy to stop worrying about his hair and learn to kick again.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
