Getting some bad vibes about our attitude here.

And we’re down now because of that arrogant [censored] from Kozzie.

So annoying.

2 soft as butter goals

Obviously our goal kicking coaches have worked tirelessly through the week.

Ghostwriter can you get to Choco pls and ask him to get Kozzy to fix his goal kicking method pls.

Clearly no one in the FD is doing much about it.

His desire to rush that shot effectively cost us 12 points there and now we've lost the momentum and gotten their tails up.

That aspect of his game is just too amateur for this level and is costing his team badly

Kozzy lairising we are of today, A.J not up to it, Petty is he out there??

We are back to lazy, arrogant footy. Lazy kicking.

Playing like we think we are going to win. Which is a sure fire way to lose.

Steven May paying little respects to a rookie. Getting taught a lesson.

Either way, May is cooked.

Exactly the start we didn’t need. They have a sniff now.

Rick looking very slow and panicky

Lever and May are genuinely cooked.

Slow, weak in the contests, fumbly and struggling to get clean touch.

Father time has caught up to both.

Coach killers.

The number of times we gift opposition momentum that isn't theirs..

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
