They should. There was another earlier too.

Lloyd possibly?

Waiting for the MRO's assessment of Armartey and McInmerney.

Well Amaety not playing next week

And probably McInerney.

Agree no way he ran straight. Umps just have no idea !!!

Sydney are trash. Assuming no injuries for us on Sunday, I'll be very disappointed if we lose to them at the MCG given we'd pretty much have a full strength side.

SO AFL FOOTBALLERS HAVE TO BE AEROBIC, STRONG, FAST, DETERMINED, AGGRESSIVE, PASSIONATE, BRAVE, DISCIPLINED AND SUPPORTIVE.

RIV IS A PROTOTYPE

THERES PLENTY IN OTHER TEAMS

DEES NEED TO FIND 2 IN THIS TRADE OR DRAFT PERIOD

Amartey has to simply be suspended under the matrix. No ifs, buts or maybes.

Careless, medium impact and to the head = 1 week.

It has to be at least medium impact because Boyd was escorted off the ground by his doctor.

Handy out, if he is indeed suspended.

Great pressure game tonight, and a popular presentation and result.

Sydney never lost their cool Carlton looked like they were tired, and top heavy even with Silvagni off in heavy conditions.

If Heeney could kick that could have been an all time game

40 touches and 6 goals?

pretty sure that’s never been done. not in AFL era anyway

Afl website is saying 2-3 weeks for Amartey

maybe a week for McInerney but Silvani not concussed so AFL will be fine with a hit yo the head probably 🙄

Watching this tripe on foxtel in a pub. Hoping like hell that Tex runs through that piece of s.hite in a football act of course

Daicos x 2, Darcy, coz or Howe would do as well

Life truly is a mystery and cruel. You have good people like the Selwoods, Jim Stynes and innocent kids like Jack Davey perishing so young and then you see the likes of Crisp breaking all sorts of record and Maynard rolling around, alive and it just makes you stop, think and shake your head.

You left out handsome 😝

Soz but not a week goes by where a teenage girl doesn’t ask me to say hi to Riv, or get something signed by Riv or just earbashes me about her undying love for Riv.

You’d hate to be a Crows supporter - the amount of times the umpires influence their game with the Pies in the last 5 years is mind boggling.

Adelaide have had truckload of opportunities to blow Collingwood away, but can't kick through the big sticks. Very Melbourne-like.

Now the umpires imposing themselves upon the result, listening to the roar of the crowd

The one way decisions a bit obvious now. Sports entertainment.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
