I hope Jack gives his Dad a smile and a wink over dinner tonight

Should I be happy or sad about this performance? Help me out.

[censored]. Squirmy still thinks GC are a chance!

Probably hasn’t ever trained in midfield so why would he have any idea? Doesn’t know the roles etc. Seems a smart guy, I’m sure he can figure it out in time.

I agree. But I’m not saying he can’t do it in time, I’m just saying it’s foolish to have expected him to do it this year

Liking Kolt’s game today. Coming hard off the line, getting his hands on the ball and likes the tough stuff.

The Kolt. Is some sort of player

Yes, while his kicking hasn't been great, he has gone in harder than I'd expect any first year player to do

very enjoyable performance particularly after the week we've had

If anyone wants out they can [censored] off. We don't need you.

(Nibbler excluded, of course - a class human)

This is the way a good club responds to questions. Not talk, action. Credit to the boys.

Will end up being a very good win but crickey Gold Coast have been Putrid after quarter time! Handball happy city!

I didn’t expect this response, very pleased to see it though

Play with a bit of Flair Demons. Attack the Goals…

So no credit to Melbourne? they’ve only lost one game at home all season.

I agree with that

Bizarrely this might be the most insightful thing he's ever said.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
