LEAVE ME ALONE!!! Please just leave me alone. I’m going through something incredibly difficult right now, a really really low point and the last thing I need is to be mocked by the likes of you. Just ignore me. Stop with the little indirect digs at me. I’ve done nothing to deserve your nastiness.

Someone laughs at someone else when they’ve just shared that they’re at their lowest point in life? That’s a new low. It’s heartless actually. I don’t need this, I really don’t. I’m out.

I hope everything works out ok WCW.

Why?

Theres a bit of a weird misogynistic tone about parts of this thread that I don’t really love.

Because they’re supporting our AFLW team and crowd numbers have been down.

Well if that’s how you feel then I agree. I thought you were suggesting something else, so I’m sorry if I took it in a way that wasn’t intended. 👍

I think “misogyny” gets thrown around a little too much these days, often used incorrectly. I’m a single dad to two girls, we are super close and I do and will always support them in everything they do. I don’t have a misogynistic bone my body. Being critical of a female sport (due to a poor performance or a low quality product being presented) isn’t misogyny. Consequently, I find it highly offensive being referred to as a misogynist purely because I’m critical of a female’s performance (it’s the performance I’m critiquing, not the gender).

Great stuff ET.

I’m probably a bit sensitive as I haven’t really loved seeing some of the pile on of one of our posters here, who happens to be female. It made me uncomfortable, but in a way I don’t think I’m able to articulate properly. Again, apologies for misinterpreting your comment. I just wish everyone could perhaps act with a little more empathy (and I’ll try and remember to do the same!).

Enjoy the rest of your weekend 👍

Tom Sparrow’s manager needs to get that photo taken down immediately. That’ll really damage his brand.

So since Petracca has threatened to leave, he’s caused

1) A president to resign

2) An external review to be undertaken

Really interested to see what gets added to this list as the next 6 months unfolds.

In breaking news: Trent (or Jared if you listen to Dermie) Rivers and Tom Sparrow (or Swallow according to BT) both request a trade to Collingwood

Nice wheels 👍
Certainly wouldnt have picked that if someone started a "match a poster to a car" type thread.

(I had you pegged as a Kombi type)

The only thing you're guilty of is those weekend trips to Home Depot.

I think an Audi SUV is actually cheaper than a Kombi these days. Coincidentally, a 1960 Kombi Samba is the one vehicle I’ve always wanted to own.

Are you implying that Petracca created the troubles? or just noting that his public stance on them has created a lot of necessary movement.

Isn’t it just the fact that CP5’s actions to overtly look to leave is the catalyst to all this? I am sympathetic to his stance, I even understand to the point of comprehension, but can we just let the facts stand without making them arguable because they don’t fit the clean narrative we want for a certain person?

If that is the case then I'd want a cleanout of senior positions from top to bottom. Roffey has gone, and Pert and Richardson should be next.

I couldn’t find this article. What did they say about Jack?

It was just his place in the highest earners list.

Plenty of pretty ordinary "champions"( they're all very good of course) getting 200 grand more than Jack.

I hope noone dismisses this as silly.

It's not.

Every one of our sponsors would look at this table with concern in terms of a return on their investment.

It's a perfect visual summary of our woeful comms.

It is a serious issue.

I'm guessing going out in straight last Sept and our string of losses this year didn't help.  Similar to our membership numbers.  Nor would our membership demographics.

It would be interesting to know the overall figures and if the table is only the additional or is net +/-.

Will be disappointed if the Comms department is not a serious part of the organisational review.  imv it is failing at many levels.

As an side wondering how mfc's 'instagram performance' is related to the CP thread rather than the review thread...

@Demonland do we know the end date?  Is there more info available about the composition of the table.

We should've dubbed our draftee: Caleb the Windsurfer and brought inflatable windsails into the crowd and given our game style a catchy name like StrangleBall to match those young wizards and whipper snappers over at Waverley
