why is there such a low embed kb limit here?

It’s because you’ve used up your yearly allotment. You can copy the link to the image, come back to Demonland and in the box where you type your post, go to “Other Media” and go to “Insert image from URL”. Paste in the link to the image.

@WalkingCivilWar just saying, if he really wants to move to SA. Based on the situation we had last off season.

Yeah I just think the NON-MFC thread is not the place to discuss this, especially in the middle of a thrilling game. Maybe it’s just me 🤷‍♀️

Port and giants will both win this weekend. If we can get the job done the bombers will fall to 9th.

Tuned in to the last quarter to see the Dons up by 3 goals, turned off. (Guessing almost everyone else did the same?)

Now im on AFL.com waiting and refreshing for the last two minute video to have a good laugh!

Just go into your account and delete pics (attachments) that you no longer need 👍🏽 This frees up space.

It was at a time the Crows lost a 7 goal lead by having next to zero poise on defence. Petty would certainly fix that.

They were ruining my night as I was surrounded by Essendon supporters at the pub. Got very carried away when the crows kicked seven in a row 😜😜 almost started clapping, even if that was risking my physical integrity 🤣🤣

Brad Scott wants to kill somebody 😂

Seriously, it’s hilarious. The journos aren’t even deterred in the slightest and he’s gotta sit there and cop the questions 🤣

I switched over at lunch in our test match over here with Esserdon up by 10. I believe my intervention was the game’s turning point.

Actually I’d tipped Adelaide but thought they’d blown it at 3/4 time. Marvellous.

I tipped Adelaide and was the only one in a competition of 30 to have.

No team with a % of less than 100 has any place in the top 8. Adelaide went in with a better percentage and having lost a few close games this year. It was always a 50/50 game.

So did I @praha haha. 😂

There are no “best of times” for that team.
Only “worst of times”.

Did I just hear Brad Scott say, “ it is better to lose in one’s own way, than to win in somebody else’s”?

Most fraudelent top 4 team in the history of the world.

The traditional post-bye tumble is in full effect…

this carnt of a club deserves to remain in the mediocrity it has endured for the last 20 years. Every couple of years a false dawn, before we revert back to despair. ■■■■ this club and all who walk through its halls. Except Caldwell, Merrett and Durham

sam draper is a huge problem.

we have no other rucks.

just let that sink in, we are literally stuck with sam draper as our main ruckman.

and jake stringer, he is ■■■■■■■ absolutely cooked.

I wish we were North Melbourne, they’re so far in front of us!!

I reckon at least 80% of all counselling patients in Australia would be Essendon supporters. The other 20% are probably married to one.

I actively will not watch a "druggies" game, unless we are involved but needing a toiley break at 2:30 this morning I snuck a look at the phone & had a big smile. So big a smile that I stayed up, strong coffee and are watching the replay on Fox. Tired? Never. Can go back to bed later. What a start to the weekend.  Global outage for the "druggies".

The package does have the appearance and fitness of a local footy player. Couldn't believe how out of shape he is, in the middle of the AFL season.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

Hands up if you thought, like me, at half-time in yesterday’s game at TIO Traeger Park, Alice Springs that Melbourne’s disposal around the ground and, in particular, its kicking inaccuracy in front of the goals couldn’t get any worse. Well, it did. And what’s even more damning for the Melbourne Football Club is that the game against St Kilda and its resurgence from the bottomless pit of its miserable start to the season wasn’t just lost through poor conversion for goal but rather in the 15 minutes when the entire team went into a slumber and was mugged by the out-of-form Saints. Their six goals two behinds (one goal less than the Demons managed for the whole game) weaved a path of destruction from which they were unable to recover. Ross Lyon’s astute use of pressure to contain the situation once they had asserted their grip on the game, and Melbourne’s self-destructive wastefulness, assured that outcome. The old adage about the insanity of repeatedly doing something and expecting a different result, was out there. Two years ago, the score line in Melbourne’s loss to the Giants at this same ground was 5 goals 15 behinds - a ratio of one goal per four scoring shots - was perfectly replicated with yesterday’s 7 goals 21 behinds.
This has been going on for a while and opens up a number of questions. I’ll put forward a few that come to mind from this performance. The obvious first question is whether the club can find a suitable coach to instruct players on proper kicking techniques or is this a skill that can no longer be developed at this stage of the development of our playing group? Another concern is the team's ability to counter an opponent's dominance during a run on as exemplified by the Saints in the first quarter. Did the Demons underestimate their opponents, considering St Kilda's goals during this period were scored by relatively unknown forwards? Furthermore, given the modest attendance of 6,721 at TIO Traeger Park and the team's poor past performances at this venue, is it prudent to prioritize financial gain over potentially sacrificing valuable premiership points by relinquishing home ground advantage, notwithstanding the cultural significance of the team's connection to the Red Centre?
