I have a relative who's friend of a friend that is high up in the Red Bull fraternity, it appears that CP5 is still exploring a trade to the pies or carlscum, the deal appears to be Carlton will deal Walsh and Owies plus a F1 for CP5 with the pies trying desperate to top them with a deal including the bloke who retired Gus as well as De Goey and some pick swaps, the bloke who clocked Gus said he owes the Dees, so is willing to come, they are still trying to find the other bloke in L.A. when I get further mail from my sisters girl friend's boy friend, I will post more. Stay tuned as Norf has not given up on Tracc just yet, with the saints still sniffing and Dawks and Bumbers willing onlookers.

Hunter, Brayshaw, BBB, Schache, Turner, ANB and I dare say Tomlinson all gone.

We are going to need to cover 7 spots,  which is alot.

3 Draft kids, 2 Trade (Derksen, and hopefully Peatling), 1 rookie maybe 2, but possibly leaving 1 spot for a SSP

You mean Smith not Turner.

Brayshaws spot went to Kentfield.

It's not a lot of spots at all.

Here's the list changes from last year:
https://www.afl.com.au/news/1051691/ins-and-outs-every-clubs-full-list-changes-ahead-of-2024

Number of players off per team:

Adelaide 8
Brisbane 8
Carlton 7
Collingwood 8
Essendon 11
Fremantle 6
Geelong 8
Gold Coast 9
GWS 5
Hawthorn 10
Melbourne 8
North 13
Port 10
Richmond 7
St.Kilda 9
Sydney 10
West Coast 9
The Dogs 9

Range = 5-13, Mean = 8.6, Median = 8.5, Mode = 8

Seven is less than each of the mean, mode and median from last year.  Unsure why posters persist in suggesting 7 is "a lot".

We'll probably make at least 3 trades/FAs/DFAs. 3 NDs and 1 RD which easily covers 7 slots.  If anything I think it's not enough.

Red Bull have delisted Daniel Ricciardo possibly to clear cap space for Petracca?

Someone needs to take McAdam under their wing because he promised the world and by all accounts should be able to deliver, but the guy is just never quite right.  I believe he has lots of potential just need to work harder and make sure he's fully fit...I wonder what the issue is.

Someone at another club would be good.

He is lazy and doesn't put in the effort.  I was on this when we were first linked to him, has been the word out of the crows for a while.

Can't believe we gave up anything for him let alone a second rounder, 53 games(no major injuries either, mainly soft tissue) in 5 years with his talent, says it all.

Here's to hoping something clicks, but I'm not holding my breath!

I know this might not be a popular post, but with ANB gone we need a player who can run and do the team first things. Finn Maginess is an elite runner and someone we might get cheap.....

Also means Clarry has 1 less tagger out there.

Don't mind it, we also need 1 or 2 players of his ilk that might not quite be in the team but if we have an injury can fill the hole.

We can't just get kids and superstars like most people think.

Depending where you look McCrae wants to come to the Dees. Petracca can then play forward which would be good for us. We do need to draft two young good midfielders and probably have someone else from our existing who could that role. Preferably not Kossie.

What was funny on a website that getting Dersken ( no senior games ) and a Tom Campbell was a mini team rebuild.

A year ago we all felt we were one injury-free Melksham away from winning a flag, so it made sense to just do the deal for a pick that wouldn't make much of a difference the following year if taken to the draft. Easy to say these things now with hindsight.

As always we don’t seem to be in the hunt for any big name players .. what is it about our club yet you hear cats, pies, even the saints seem to be in the hunt

wtf are you talking about

this year we were near certs to get houston - the best player looking to move clubs by some margin - until such a time as our season collapsed in on itself

there's not that many 'big names' looking to move clubs; in truth, there rarely is

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury. LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
