ANB for Rachele. Take it or leave it, ya crabs.

They will leave it as they have us over a barrel and it isn’t a fair deal anyway.

I fear we may get screwed in trading ANB, as they know we are committed to helping ANB get home and doing the right thing by him and his family.

If it was Dodoro, he would offer pick 185. Hopefully the Crows will act fairly.

I would say that if there wasn't already an in-principle deal, that we wouldn't be so forthcoming with the whole thing and would say "he is seeking a trade home and we will work with all interested parties to see if a deal can be reached".

My best guess, going off absolutely no inside intel btw, is that we have a deal more or less sorted with the Crows.

I reckon we get our second rounder back from them, which means it's essential McAdams for Nibbler, which is not a good trade unfortunately.

Cant blame the kid if he wants out as our media are beyond embarrassing.

Is Ladhams worth a look? Would he be happy waiting at VFL level once again?

Suns would have a few players available i'd say. Joel Jeffrey comes to mind. 194cm HBF/HFF

That is far from a good trade if true, as we got an injured player who struggles to get fit and might end up hardly playing for us at all.

How so? Turner has a loooong way to go before he is in the same conversation as Waterman

The same Waterman who’s played 12 good games in his career?

He sounds a bit flaky but has talent.

He has pulled out of a few contests, which Goody is not a real fan of.

How about ANB and McAdam?

Seriously, he is on a big contract and I wonder how that would play out.

This kid has superstar attributes, I don't rate Nick's as a coach.  Looks a bit "my way or the highway" type.  Goody is a players coach.  Recon he coukd get the best out of him.

Attach him to Petraccas hip for a pre-season and watch him after a big pre-season.

It's a pipe dream, but yeh if McAdam is worth a 2nd rounder what's ANB worth.  I still can't believe we went after McAdam let alone paid that for him.  Still makes me angry

Crows are laughing. McAdam is now a pick 23-24 in this draft. He’s a lazy footballer. Cannot kick 35 metres.  Mercurial yes. But two or three efforts a match is lazy!!!

how we seem to have accepted that anb is leaving to go 'home' without the deal being done is absolutely infuriating

he has requested a trade; it has not happened yet

he's got two years to go on a very healthy contract

is he going to retire if crom / pear can't satisfy us in a trade?

how we've handled his trade request has been acquiescent

We desperately need a smooth moving midfielder with excellent kicking skills.

Our field kicking is still atrocious compared to teams like Collingwood and Sydney.

Finn Callaghan is out of contract next year... doesn't help for next season though.

I wouldn't be sure that we haven't done a deal for ANB already...

I think we can build around Disco and JVR, with Fritsch as a third tall. We would get more value from insert a player like Tom Papley, Bobby Hill or Charlie Cameron than Max King.

Matt Owies is a player we should look at. Sam Wicks is another.

If we keep Petracca and find some depth in the midfield, he can be used forward as well.

Murphy Reid and Cotton look like they could play a small forward role to me.

Agree in Owies and Wicks, and I wonder about Rachele.

Max king would help all the other forwards. Fritts jvrs roles would alter and they'd get lesser Backmen. Chin/spargs are no papley but an upgrade wouldn't be as dramatic as max king.

Rachele is on too much money.

Look at the Giants list for some options. They have too many small forwards to play them all.

Said as soon as we were interested he is lazy and has an attitude problem.  And not young.  They really bent us over there

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
