We've got 6 home games to come this season. These last two weeks will cost the club millions of dollars.

Start walking Simon..... then run....

Knives coming

Youve had your day.... let someone who knows what they're doing come in

For anyone watching and stressing over this dross we're dishing up, i'd highly recommend you try painting something.

Great MFCSS therapy

Petty is just jogging around

Not sure he has sprinted yet this season.

We lost this game as soon as we selected Petty up forward again.

Not the only reason obviously but it's a poor sign that he's a constant walk up start. I mean why should he give his all. Talk about job security.

Does Vines turn the ball over every time he touches it? Serious question.

He is one of the worst offenders ignoring free players. Its like he has tunnel vision. Has now become a turnover merchant.

What has happened to his fearsome CP game?

Imagine letting Maynard and Collingwood have the last laugh with such a limp performance

Say goodbye to the 8

Not seeing it for some time

2.5 to 4.0 that quarter.

Goodwin must be sweating.

Stick a fork in us, we’re done. Sorry 😞

(On the upside we’re winning the scoring shot battle - should be smoking them)

How many times have we seen a score line like this. One more scoring shot  and we our six goals down.

Maybe it is on the coaches.

Billings needed to GO HARD

Jesus Christ why 😭

How on earth does he get a game!!!!! My god...why oh why did we recruit him? He was awful at the Saints...

Thanks Goodwin you managed to takes us back 10yrs to when Roos started!  On the way you have destroyed our mid and will struggle to keep any decent player or attract any

Hope you're "leaning into this" Simon

19 shots from 37 i50s vs 17 from 35...

Laughable. Not going anywhere. Deal with it.

Viney - 1 clearance

Oliver - 44% KE

It's a big problem for the rest of the year too.

No Petracca is going to show up our serious lack of midfield depth and this diabolical gameplan.

Godwin is going to get exposed big tine here.

In 12 months time we could be irrelevant again.

The decline is faster than the rise

Netflix series about the Nazis is pretty good. New season of The Boys out Thursday. More to life than this.

this team is a shell of itself

very very disappointing

No way we are making the 8. Goodwin lost this team weeks ago. Our game style, if you lose the side, it becomes evident.

Maybe the players could kick straight? Just an idea.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.
