3 goals in a half of football is pathetic. Wouldn’t happen if this game had of been played on the G.

We're lucky this isn't at the G mate. The score might have been worse.

Cannot remember seeing so many blokes panic with the ball and almost not want it in their hands. Worst performance for a long time.

Watch for the comeback and lose by 2-3 goals.

We have gone downhill since our coach stopped partying with the players.

In case you haven't noticed Max ,for all his qualities, often doesn't tap to his midfield

Been saying this for years🤯

Nothing to do with the coaches. We've managed to paper over the cracks for a while but Oliver missing the pre-season and down on form, Trac needed up forward because we have no key forwards, losing Brayshaw, Lever out ... it just goes on and on. JVR in for Turner next week but deck chairs.

Of course it’s on the Coaches. This is all preparation, NOT BEING READY FOR THE CONTEST

We are more interested in having a nice weekend up north

Lol absolutely would have. We kicked 3 in a half against the blues in the G 3 weeks ago, and the same against the cats the week before. The venue isn’t the problem the team is the problem

Wasn't it the same against Brisbane?

I think I might petition to have no Binman on the pod this week because I just can’t put up with 2 hours of this isn’t our midfield’s fault.

He has a podcast?!?

This is sadly Melbourne of the old dark days.

Our midfield is so broken and slow.

The window slammed shut today folks.

We are gone.

Sorry.

That happened in Perth 2 weeks ago.

Playing like this reminds me of the horror decades

We have definitely lost that hunger and mongrel we had in 21.

This uninterested mob will struggle to even make finals this year.

Not trading Petty to Adelaide is one of our bigger list mistakes in a long time

He’ll become superman when he goes there and kick ten goals per game.

This sort of performance is very disheartening for the supporters, and of course it had to be a week before the Huge clash against the filth. 😮‍💨

Dropped 7% in a half of footy.

My only interest in the second half is whether we can salvage a bit of percentage of back.

GC can even replace us in the 8.

Good, we don’t deserve to be there

Coaches can only work with what they have. Look at Clarkson at North.

It's the players and the list.

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
