Seems like the adoption of “Narrm” as our name during the indigenous round has coincided with abysmal performances that have been a negative turning point for our season year after year.

Maybe we can change to Kulin or Boonwurung, maybe some kind of exorcism but heck we’ve got to break this Narrm Curse

 I think won one. Versus North in 2022 at Docklands .

That was our 10th win on the trot and it was not a convincing win.  After that game  we lost the next two in a row.

Since 2022 when Narrm begun, 1 win and 4 losses. 1 win against Roos in first game as Narrm.

Not just losses, but losses against the flow, unexpected losses which led to a run of bad form

Sheesh, as if calling ourselves Narrm has any impact on how well we play.

We were 9-0 and they were 1-8 and we were playing for our 17th consecutive win. Though North were a terrible side they physically monstered us and we got injuries. We looked very tired and flat despite the win. Not an auspicious debut for the Narrm moniker. A slow steady decline since then.

Just stick to Melbourne I say. I love the indigenous round and the jumpers, celebration etc but I reckon changing the name is going too far

(I wonder if it's possible to express an opinion on this topic without having my head bitten off, let's see)

Glass half full approach: We only play as Narrm for two games a year. If that's the reason for losses, there are 21 other home and away games for which we should be fine.

Obviously the name has nothing to do with the losses.

But I'll be pleased when this sort of utter tripe ends.

In 2021 we were using the indigenous Guernsey, but did we use the Narrm name as well?
