Sharing only because I'm struggling with that being reality.

Now 2.13.25 to 11.2.68

I guess when we complain about our kicking for goal we need to think of Fred, at home

I hope the media bring up Jeremy Cameron and him not going off. This is really annoying me he got to stay out there. I know Cameron probably said he was fine but it must be protocol to be assessed

Ha Geelong have to go to Darwin next week & play.

Gaz is going hard on the Jeremy Cameron head knock. They're covering it big time. Gaz is saying he should have gone off & especially with all the concussion issues at the moment

The SEN commentators mention at some stage that he didn't look right .... Scott of course will say he didn't see the incident.

Please explain, Geelong.

Please GC$ knock them off up in Darwin.

I think the Scott presser should be posted here, please, @Demonland.

Posterity.

Fox are playing the Sydney game.

anyone got a link to Scott presser?

Awaiting @Demonland's good offices, DD 😊

Only a small snippet of Scott’s presser on channel 7. . No mention of Port at all (did acknowledge Horne Francis).

In other words, another true to form press conference.  I love watching sore losers.

Laura should be on the phone asking questions Monday morning.

Jezza could also have delayed concussion.

Anyway I enjoy the double header because the first game starts at 7:10. See we can start earlier Friday night

Just a thought:

If - and I am certainly not expecting it, let alone wishing it - we don't get to the pointiest end of 2024, I'd look forward to how the AFL spins an all-Sydney GF!

Bad thing about Freo losing is Pies will be in the 8 by sunday night

What an absolute sooker of a person and no respect for opponents.  Hope it bites him in the bum.

GO GC$ next week.

Sydney are so impressive offensively and defensively and are clearly the number 1 seed at the moment.

However, Sydney are disgraceful in grand finals under Longmire. Why would this year be any different?

And what did Jordon get up to over summer? Has become an accomplished player.

Longmire, whose Swans are now 8-1 and a game clear atop the ladder, was mindful of the Dockers' challenges on Friday and passed on his club's deepest condolences to McCarthy's family, friends, and Fremantle.

The coach was proud of his team's professional performance on the road, with midfield recruit James Jordon celebrated for his run-with role on damaging Freo half-back Jordan Clark.

"He's been terrific since he's come to the footy club. He can do a number of different roles and he's got a great temperament," Longmire said of the former Demon.

As some of us on here felt he was with us.

i still believe if he knew Gus would retire he would have stayed:

He left for better opportunities and has got them with the current best team in the AFL.

We have a hole after Clarry, Tracc, JV and Sparrow.

I see Chris went on a rant about that advantage rule that didn't get paid. That is not why you lost

He’s such a sore loser. They were 8 goals down because they couldn’t keep up with the speed of Ports mids in the first half. That’s not the umpires fault, or the AFL’s. I honestly doubt any team could have. Port were on.

Sometimes you get outplayed. Just call it what it is and move on.

He’s a petulant child.

Cost me money.

Wanted to vack port but I assumed it 7:40

@#$%*@ AFL.

Geelong “not quite themselves” two weeks in a row. That’s a shame.

Might need more funding down at kitty litter park.

Maybe they'll find themselves in Darwin  next week

Too right Dee Viney. I do know that Gary Rohan has taken upon himself to lobby for more physiotherapists.

Here’s a pic of Chris Scott after the loss.

He is another reason to hate Geelong. His arrogance is disturbing.

Nothing to do with one decision.  Cats got good cream from the umps especially in the 2nd half.

I suspect we're witnessing in slow motion the demise of the cats vaunted midfield.  Selwood gone danger at 34 and soft tissues cam Guthrie etc.

Hawkins finishing up.

Scott will struggle with this I suspect

Wow. What an extraordinarily misleading headline. It was (only) 3 minutes and he was essentially defending them. But it got me to click.

You win fox footy. 👏🏾

I don't like him, but on this I agree with him. Essentially, the fault is not the umpires, it's the rules. They need to be much simpler and clearer. But the AFL keeps fiddling with them, with knee-jerk reactions which are often completely stupid. And the AFL being the AFL, they never ever admit that they have got it wrong. Simplest case: nominating a ruckman, to avoid two ruckmen up. But there are many. Holding the ball needs a complete revamp and simplification.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
