Possible Casey line up KC or Werridee?

Very small ground for spectators and now that the old stand is no longer even smaller. That being said I wouldn't expect many attendees.

I wonder how many emergencies we'll keep back for the evening

ย

Excited at the possibility of McAdam playing. Listed last week as 1-2 weeks. With this being a Wednesday game, you would think we hold off. Next VFL after that is May 5th so another 11 days for him to get ready.

ย

Couple of weeks later and he could get up for the trip to Perth...

Can someone explain to me why this couldn't be a curtain raiser to the main game at the MCG ?

Or at least start this at 3:45 so punters could watch this game on the way to the MCG, or at least a couple of quarters.

Agree. At least say 3pm as the earliest start. ย

Pretty sure itโ€™s at Punt Road??

i presume they can't have it later at punt road ground because the lighting is not up to afl lighting standards for games and video streaming.

He said he'd be ready for this week two weeks ago.ย  I took that to mean Anzac eve (but via Casey).ย

I'd be very surprised if he isn't in the squad.

Thatโ€™s an impressive forward line

Why Billings on the ball and Kynan on the wing. If either sectioning the AFL they would ideally be in the positions I have suggested.ย

Outfield work has been interesting even underwhelming at times and Kynan looks as good a mid under the three champs plus Sparrow and the cameo kids Kossie Riv and also Salem ย when fit.ย

I bet when he gets his chance he wonโ€™t give it up without an almighty fight.ย

But thatโ€™s the trick how does he get his chance?ย

I have Billings on the ball and Kynan on the wing because Billings is more experienced Brown needs to build up before I put him on the ball. I could have put Sestan on the ball and Kynan or Billings on a flank but decided against it.

In the VFL thatโ€™s ย where experience is gained. What a ridiculous reason. The more Kynan gets of playing on the ball the better he will get and be ready for AFL.ย

Crazy selection and I know VFL can make some moves but itโ€™s there for discovering senior AFL players fgs.

Kynan is unlucky and really deserves an opportunity as he has done well considering byes and lack of opportunities. Need to fast track him like Windsor.ย

Interestingly KFW 'managed'. Code for dropped. Needs to go back to suburban football for some time to see if he's actually got anything.ย  Unfortunately for him, and us, I strongly doubt that he has.

Jack Bell listed in the emergencies. Could definitely come in and do a job in the ruck if required.ย

Am I correct in assuming one of Tholstrup, Brown or Hore will be held over for tonight's game?

All three will be held over!

Whatever happened to Bell?ย  Had a reasonable season in 2021.ย  Stepped things up at times in 22 and a flag.

2023 unsighted from what i recall and now sits on the emergency list?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
