KC from Casey 7,211 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 There’s a big game coming up for the Casey Demons against Richmond VFL at the Swinburne Centre on Anzac Day Eve. 3 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,772 Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Very small ground for spectators and now that the old stand is no longer even smaller. That being said I wouldn't expect many attendees. I wonder how many emergencies we'll keep back for the evening 1 Quote
seventyfour 1,248 Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Excited at the possibility of McAdam playing. Listed last week as 1-2 weeks. With this being a Wednesday game, you would think we hold off. Next VFL after that is May 5th so another 11 days for him to get ready. Couple of weeks later and he could get up for the trip to Perth... 2 Quote
Bystander 903 Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Can someone explain to me why this couldn't be a curtain raiser to the main game at the MCG ? Or at least start this at 3:45 so punters could watch this game on the way to the MCG, or at least a couple of quarters. 4 1 Quote

daisycutter 30,017 Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 i presume they can't have it later at punt road ground because the lighting is not up to afl lighting standards for games and video streaming. 1 Quote

I'd be very surprised if he isn't in the squad. Edited April 22, 2024 by Demon Dynasty 1 Quote

Brown, Billings and Salem Why Billings on the ball and Kynan on the wing. If either sectioning the AFL they would ideally be in the positions I have suggested. Outfield work has been interesting even underwhelming at times and Kynan looks as good a mid under the three champs plus Sparrow and the cameo kids Kossie Riv and also Salem when fit. I bet when he gets his chance he won’t give it up without an almighty fight. But that’s the trick how does he get his chance? 1 Quote

I have Billings on the ball and Kynan on the wing because Billings is more experienced Brown needs to build up before I put him on the ball. I could have put Sestan on the ball and Kynan or Billings on a flank but decided against it. 1 Quote

The more Kynan gets of playing on the ball the better he will get and be ready for AFL. Crazy selection and I know VFL can make some moves but it’s there for discovering senior AFL players fgs. Kynan is unlucky and really deserves an opportunity as he has done well considering byes and lack of opportunities. Need to fast track him like Windsor. Quote

Deelectable 1,043 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Interestingly KFW 'managed'. Code for dropped. Needs to go back to suburban football for some time to see if he's actually got anything. Unfortunately for him, and us, I strongly doubt that he has. 1 1 Quote
Tarax Club 4,189 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Jack Bell listed in the emergencies. Could definitely come in and do a job in the ruck if required. 1 Quote
