Can’t wait for the McCrae presser.
We’ll start seeing his dark side now.
Beware the nice guy…

He was passive-aggressive last week. Probs just aggressive this week. 😁

Just got out of a show at Hamer Hall, there's a few Pies supporters on this Sandy train and quite a few were at Richmond Station. 😁

Bet there weren't any Filth in HH.

Is it possible to have a death-ride for pure joy?

I've gone from dreaming that in the very final round we climb over them and take their spot in the top 4, to dreaming that we'll be ending their last-ditch effort to get into the 8. Ideally by a big margin so we can watch their spoiled sulky fans leaving the game early to end the season and we can have the 'G to ourselves for a glorious 20 minutes of singing.

The older players like Pendles, Sidebottom and Howe are struggling and it is costing them.

I still think a few of them won't see out the season.

Forgot about our old mate Howey.

Their system is shot to pieces after 18 months of the luckiest football i can remember ever being played.

Whilst we have gone out in straight sets in the past 2 years luck with injuries, composure in front of goal has cost us dearly, our core system has not broken down completely to this extent.

We seem to have added a couple of extra cogs this year to revitalise our strategies, but no one has ever completely broken them down the way Collingwood have been dismantled in 2024.

I'd go one further and say that after we stop their last effort to make the 8 that they don't make it again for years.

Kids that were too young to remember last year's flag end up deep in life wondering if they will ever make the 8.

Enter the darkness.

I got home from work to see the last 10 minutes. Reading online all the pies fans are complaining about the umpiring.

But watching fox footy I'm seeing the lack of effort, pressure and defence that they're highlighting.  I'm also seeing the play where a pies player handballs it & it hit Moore in the head.

Haha, yeah that was very funny and the summary of their game.

Umpiring was quite poor tonight.

The free count was a bit lopsided, but I was amazed by the lack of running and pressure from Collingwood. Felt like there was no accountability and once a contest was lost they just gave up. Far too many passengers.

McRae was a spoilt sport in the qualifying final loss in 2022. He's another Damien Hardwick. Completely arrogant and full of himself.

It's just a great pity they managed to get so much luck last year and win it.

They're really very average when they're not going at 100% break neck speed. They're not great at clearance, so they often lose territory and if you can slow them down, their KPFs aren't really good enough to get you too often.

I thought St Kilda's ball movement off half back and their work rate was incredible.

I knew Wanganeen-Milera would be a star from his first game. He is going to be elite. You can't let him constantly run free off half back. His ball use and run and carry will split you apart. They've got some really good ball users at the back there now. A bit like how we've transformed our ball use in the back half with Bowey, Howes, McVee and Salem. But unlike St Kilda, we have May and Lever.

Unless Brisbane really [censored] the bed, I'd be surprised if Collingwood aren't 0-4 after next week. That would be delicious.

He means that Lingers was right and that they were all duck, no dinner, but he's mixed his metaphors.

Pies got crucified by the umps.
Free kicks were Saints 30 Pies 15.

Higgins goal from the 3rd row was a nail into the pies hearts.
 Umps were shocking.

Pies were massacred by the umps.

It was beautiful to watch

As they fall, any pickings from the carcass? Apart from the Daicos brothers who will have to wither on the vine, who would you take, I used to like McStay, but feeling ho hum about him, Moore would never leave, Hill I rate, Quaynor also, but that is about it, everyone else is looking like a dollar special due to age.

Pity it has to be Brisbane.

Both 0-4 would be good to see...

...but I guess you can't have everything.

Too young, batting average in this place is about 50 from what I can work out, excusing Jane, Jaded and WCW of course.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
