Demon Dynasty 17,165 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Why are Blues players allowed to determine where the mark is and almost always run over the actual mark without ever being called back? Quote

The Jackson FIX 3,511 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 There’s another team who have figured out how to win tight matches. 1 Quote
Redleg 42,156 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Just now, The Jackson FIX said: There’s another team who have figured out how to win tight matches. Yep. Get the umpires to give you everything, have your opponent down 3 players for most of the game, off a 5 day break and have an opposition player play on from a set shot 2 metres out and miss. That’s the way to win. 3 Quote
dees189227 12,512 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Gee poor yze. Was I said last week welcome to coaching. I just caught the last quarter. Bolton in the final seconds I thought was going to get through but he forgot to take the ball. Quote
BoBo 2,956 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Richmond and Yze deserve massive credit for that performance. They almost won it. Richmond are going down and this is Carlton’s first realistic chance of being expected to get to a GF. My hat is off to Yze. 6 Quote

At the break of Gawn 4,511 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Still not sure Carlton are the real deal. Their defence still looks dodgy. Maybe Weitering makes the difference. 2 Quote
Demon Disciple 12,536 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Carlton did everything they could to lose that one, the umps sure helped them out in the last, though the Tigers got the rub of the green early in the game. Carlton’s defence looks very suspect, but god Curnow and McKay really show the value of having 2 quality KPF’s. We don’t even have 1. Quote

The Tiges had a fair share of it in their half forward but Dusty, no where to be seen when he would normally turn a tight game on its head. Quote
KLV 1,768 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 My husband barracks for Carlton and over the decades of our marriage I have really tried hard to like them. Unfortunately, I have failed at this miserably. 4 1 Quote

dees189227 12,512 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Did a Richmond player in the 3rd quarter miss from 2 metres out? 1 Quote

If it wasn’t 2 metres out it was all of 3 out but it was a shocker of a miss all the same. Would’ve given them a handy 13 point lead. Surprised Carlton didn’t pile on the goals in the last quarter given the opposition were down 3 players. Edited March 14, 2024 by Bring-Back-Powell Quote

binman 44,822 Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 I'd be filthy if I was a tigers fan. How could the AFL not find a way to ensure the tigers had at least a 6 day break. Ridiculous. 2 Quote

But I agree on what I assume is your point- fritter, who is arguably our full forward and could be considered a KPF, is very much a quality forward. So, far from not having any quality KPFs, we have two. 1 Quote
