Goodwin’s speech about culture at the B+F would look absolutely stupid if we got in to the Ginnivan business

Not for us thanks, but Bombers or even Hawks would make a lot of sense.

They can both get involved and hold up yet another trade ...

Was down to the wire on whether I used the laughing emoji or the applause.

Would be interesting to see what Collingwood think he is worth.

Yes he comes across as an A grade DH but has talent can find the goals and was quite good up the field towards the end of this year. Him and kozzie in the fwd 50 or rotating with stints in the midfield would be exciting and equally as frustrating , he is young I'm not against it.

... and yet we bought Hunter into the club given his issues were known whilst at the dogs.
If the club thought that they can bring someone in and they would buy into our culture I don't see a problem.

Edited by Ouch!

not sure he has the speed and pressure we need

skiils are good though

Ginnivan was one of the (media) sensations of the AFL last year.

Why the dramatic fall .

He still has some talent but he had one move when getting the ball in traffic and it was throwing himself to ground and exploiting the umps. The moment they started actually enforcing the rules as written he lost a lot of his value.

Wonder if we can upgrade one of our picks to help them get the trade done. Ie. From 6 to pick 4.

Yes we have enough of those types at the club in Kossie and Spargo.

It impacted Spargo all year and has lowered his value. Took Kossie some time to grow out of it too.

Are you trying to kill me?!

Can't wait for him to get to hawks, then when he plays Pies he ducks, gets a high freekick and the pies fans lose their minds.

Will be so enjoyable

Because McRae is cleaning up house.
Will only keep DHs if they’re good enough players. Ginnivin is not.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
