We’ll finish next year top 4 again and with any luck injury wise we’ll be a real chance again. Having no consistent forward structure is always going to be a big ask in September. We win everywhere else.

I love following the Dee’s while we finish top 4 year after year, I’ll take this over the neeld era any day. Catch ya next year DL

Will you feel the same if this group only deliver the 21 flag?

Honestly we need to expect better from this group, straight set exits don't cut it.

Disgraceful waste of a season. Pickett’s poor discipline has cost us big time - what a joke he gets 800k per year. I never want to see TMac play in the senior side ever again. Get a new forward line coach ASAP. We are mentally soft and deserve to be called chokers.

Its definitely no where near 800k for Kozzy.

Also, we sure have a lot of players that cannot keep their feet. You would thought they were playing on a ground they'd never set foot on.

On a dry deck FMD 🤦🏻‍♂️

You could just see what was going to happen that whole last quarter, chance after chance, miss after miss.

Skills have digressed exponentially.

Key Forward our No.1 target in the off season.

Not going to point any fingers.

Need a coaching panel clearout.

Nothing went our way this year after Petty's injury.

The Dees are the Greg Norman of football , chokers .  We need to get rid of some players BB ,T.Mac, Harmes , Jordon ,Schache , Grundy the most expensive back up ruckman in afl history and Goody , the reserves coach ,Richardson,Pert that's for starters .I would include the fitness coach . This club makes me sick.

Don't forget the boot studder.

In hindsight Petty going down injured can't be underestimated.

Not to mention Melksham (the way he was playing) plus Brayshaw - compare Bayshaw's output to Jordan's. Then throw in the suspension to JVR.

Whats everyones fav cost us the game moment. Kossies silly free in the first quarter, Gawns two misses or the goal he touched on the line. The ARC overturn that was not asked for. just to many to pick the one.

May was massive. Sparrow in the last, very good. A wise man once told me never to email (but I’m going to apply to it posting in this case), when angry, upset or otherwise emotional, so I’m going to leave it at that. I’ll be back.

I just had a rant, feel better getting it off my chest. I regret nothing :D.

Agree, they all need to go. Offer very little collectively.

We said the same last year, bad luck... bad luck with I juries...

I am.afraid this can scar psychologically the group.

Lots of mental work to do in the offseason.

They play like they're already scarred.

Just put it in the context that while he had a poor finals series, Jack Viney carried us for a large portion of the season.

Gawn was best on field last week and played his heart out tonight.

There were a heap more reasons we lost tonight before you point the finger at the two hardest players in our club.

Pull your head in.

Vineys kick resulted in the winning goal for Carlton. Mind you he had time and space to kick better.

So 96,000 is not a big crowd?

Did you hear the noise for them vs us???? lol not even close to equal. It was a Carlton crowd, clearly.

I’m bullish on next year actually

I’m not at all unless Straight Sets Simon can get out of his own way and manage the list properly.

Also as has been said many times before a total refocus on skills needs to happen.

Too many slopppy players (Petracca and Hunter), poor kicking and just not doing the fundamentals well.

Not having any talk about us being overrated.. we are the best side in it, should have won last week.

This will be the flag we gave away.. mark my words, our biggest chance blown!

We are not the best side in it

We have lost 4 Home Finals….

Why did we give Schache another year if we can't trust him to outperform that last quarter of TMac? Embarrassing

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
