September 10, 20232 yr I should imagine if the Bun plays...he's playing as a ruck. We actually go ok with him rucking.Ā Of the 2 Max is the more versatile ( imo ) What we know is if we do the same...result's the same. Need to do something a bit lateral.... or it'sĀ over before it starts.

September 10, 20232 yr You'd have to wonder what Schache must be thinking if Disco is potentially ahead of him as a forward option.Ā

Either way we absolutely need Gawn's marking prowess closer to goal, and I'm willing to sacrifice some small amount of ruck dominance from him to achieve this. Not playing Gawn 80% Ruck, has been shown not to work. Ā Gawn dominates when playing a high % in the ruck and does not influence when forward. Ā

September 10, 20232 yr It's kind of funny how the answer is to go into the future with a 31+ y.o sole ruckman. Not wrong, just funny.Ā

September 10, 20232 yr Just realised with the Hibberd news that I didn't see him at training. Potentially didn't pull up well, or is the retirement immediate?Ā

September 10, 20232 yr Iām not surprised it was a bit flat: Ā - They know they shouldāve beaten the Pies Ā - One of their main clubmen - Gussy Brayshaw - is apparently not in a very good way - The forward line has been decimated further - Hibbo has announced his retirement (what is that all about? Weird timing) Ā I reckon theyāll pull themselves back up by Wednesday: donāt underestimate the effect of Gusās situation.

To get completely right they need 8 to 12 weeks. Edited September 10, 20232 yr by kev martin
