Hard to say this, but I really need to do some work. Literally every thought is about tonight and it needs to stop for 2 seconds!

Great in theory, let's see if the doing is as easy.

Would hate to see my stats for today for ToD (Time On Demonland) and efficiency at work

Interesting selections by both clubs. I suspect the loser may rue their decisions.

Looking forward to the following headline:

"Pies lose due to impotent wet Cox"

Champagne comedy. Late Show-esque. Bravo.

Marvelous that.

Working on that one earlier today, or had it in the arsenal for awhile?

Lets just hope we don't see "Pies big Cox stand up!" :

Quietly confident of a win, what I don't want to see is dodgy momentum changing decisions from the field umpires or imaginative goal umpire decisions " I think it hit the post or I think it was touched". Just let the game be played on it's merits and if we're good enough we'll win.

What is the consensus on the rain? Do we want it to come because of how tall Collingwood have gone or are we still wary about our ability to win in the rain?

Goody did address it in the presser and he seemed confident we’ve learnt from those experiences and are better placed, so maybe rain isn’t a bad thing.

The Exorcist Stairs GIF by filmeditor

We’ll all be decked out in our new “Possessed” cheer squad T-shirts. Ryan, our chant leader, flew to Brisbane to pick them up this morning. Shipping was quoted as $1,100 so Ryan found flights for half the cost, and now we’ll have them in time for tonight’s match. PUMPED!!!

… and POSSESSED!!!!!!

MFCSS - Level 13 Achieved:

Looking at the rain radar. My brain: looks like the rain will mostly come and go tonight, leaving the ground very damp but actual game will be dry ish. This will enable the Pies to play their game style, but will leave us fumbly with a slippery ball.

By the way a swirling wind makes it harder to judge the ball in the air and so also favours the smalls.

We've played half a dozen games in the wet this year so if we haven't worked out how to go about it by now ......

I don't want any pumping up yet, it's like starting the drinking too early and it's just making me anxious and vomity.

4:30pm is my pump up commencement time.

Flacid Cox limp(s) off prematurely for Pies would be the winner!

Key West Storm GIF by GIPHY News

At 1415hrs, intermittent rain and heavy grey clouds coming in - here in Bendigo - moving towards the sacred MCG. At present, no wind to mess with our forwards' lines. There is an awesome silence about the town - same as when all of Toowoomba went silent at the release of election news that Bjelke-Pederson had been voted out of office; seems as though the whole town here has got high hopes for the mighty Dees against the Filth. Cox may very well limp through the game, after all.

Concur and we have that advantage of beating them back in June. If we had of kicked straight would have been a 5-7 goal win SO kick straight tonight and it's ours for the taking. I'll be in the lounge up in Brissie with shorts and Demon polo and plenty of VB's. Enjoy the game guys.

I think kicking in very blustery conditions could decide the game. Who can get them in close where the shots will be more accurate?

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
