Train is very empty. I reckon we won’t crack 30,000.
Sad really. If you don’t support the club now, when will you?

It's looking bleak here. Think the cold has got to everyone, though it hasn't stopped the Matildas game being sold out down the road.

Seems like your all getting plastered before the game.

I feel like with no-one here they should just play some random footy song for the hell of it. Like Out of Bounds by Eric Bana or The Footy Show theme song

I got excited. I just saw 2 pies sellers yelling out hot pies, cold drinks walking around. I haven't seen them since covid

Hopefully, before the Matildas vs France game is the only time I hear Les Marseillaise tonight. 😁

Ok so who rucks if Gawn goes down?
Hunter? Spargo? Kosi?

Well seeing you cannot think it through, if Gawn goes down then Smith or Petty and if really needed BBB could go into the ruck, JVR is still a kid body wise, no need to bash his body around, see it's not hard to work out...

Just arrived

Bloody poor attendance for a dry and not awfully cold Friday night.  Probably warmer than the Alice game this year.
Dees - we will not get prime time games if this is all we can offer.

Is it too much to ask for a neautral c7 commentary tonight?

Yes, it will all be about Brisbane winning at the G and breaking their hoodoo

But they won't😃

We are still 4th on ladder... Yet the supporters turnout is pathetic.  Don't winge if we lose prime time slots.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
