The Giants have the worst theme song in the history of theme songs.

I don't mind it. The worst belongs to Gold Coast.

Isn’t it lovely to see a big Melbourne club get pantsed down at kardinia park

It’s actually top tier, if not perhaps the best of all of them.

not sure why people were cheering for the Giants. they are one of the form teams of the comp

now we face an angry crows team on the rebound

Angry Crows couldn't even rebound after their loss to the Bombers.

We'll beat the Crows without too much fuss next week. their away record is very shabby.

Plus they have KP. It is by far the biggest home ground advantage in the comp.

It sure is and every team should have to play there once if playing the Cats twice during a season. If not playing twice they should be required to alternate home games between seasons.

And it was Essendon oh the joy.

Essendon FC will be furious their season might have been derailed playing down at the cattery   " why wasnt it transferred to the G  they cried"

Essendon not only lost the 4 points but their crucial % points have been smashed thanks to a 77 p spanking by the big farmer boys.

No way does Essendon play down there next year . Melbourne must lobby the AFL. We cannot continue to be sent down there every year. Itll be close to a certain loss with 40k Geelong members screaming at the umps and pushing their players over the line.

GWS  ?????? Who are they LOL  Theyre about the only team that can consistently win at the cattery and they knocked off Crows in Adelaide  ffs.  Unreal.   They might sneak in the 8 soon.  How the hell is Stkilda still 6. Theyre a bottom 8 team not top 8.  Insane fixture helps them and Ess.

I love this.

Grand old flag is far and away the best theme song in the league. Obviously. Tigerland not bad and I don’t mind the Crows song. other than those I don’t care much for the rest of them.

How are hawthorn kicking so badly. They are under a roof

I'd feel bad for them, but then I realised it's hilarious and [censored] hawthorn.

Sorry to disagree with you BDA but I think we are number 4 behind Tigers, hawks and pies.

Gee today is a gold mine for the media. Hawks vs Roos and Tigers vs weagles.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
