Swans seem to hav blown it - 0.55 to go

Heeney with his 3rd shot for goal out on the full

I'm glad I took the +2 point  swans line, rather than the win, which was my first thought.

what a pathetic performance from the swans. at least 8 easy shots missed

Heeney didn’t even register a point with 3 standard shots for goal.

No roaming Brian. That's an advantage.

Gee it was frustrating last week watching us miss but you'd be even more frustrating being a swans fan

Is bad kicking still bad football?

That's a great result for us and that's a great result that will see the Cats struggle to make the eight from here.

Nichols nearly got them over the line with the help of about half of the Swannies.

Are they kissed on the pecker or what this lot?

They would be fuming though!

Suck on a fat one Ferals.

That serves as a loss for the Cats

Great result for the dees all round.

Makes it harder for cats to surge.

But two points to both swans and cats might keep them ahead of freo.

It is when 1 of those 18 points was hitting the goal post from 10 metres out. Fox you absolute goose 🤪.

Why didn't Geelong go up the middle in that last play rather than do the Steven may wide kick

Because 2 points is better than none.

It was a hard shot for Fox, he was at least 5 metres out with no one in front of him.

Oh for a Gulden in our side kicking those long low drop punts into the forwards. He is a ripper.

Goal umpire must’ve put him off

13.30.

An honorary 7.27.

Don't games like these make you just love AFL?

Made a huge difference for the Swans forwards and their conversation.

Oh wait a minute….

Says Jake Lever: 'The ump should have been penalised for being within 5 metres of the mark!'

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
