GC making Carlton look like the Harlem Globetrotters. Might have to turn this off.

Don’t mind Carlton having a revival. They have Freo soon and also Pies and Bombers fans hate seeing Carlton play well.

Would make it an interesting game if it was though. Release the velociraptors.

Suns?  More like the 'bums'

Carlton fans carrying on like they've just won the Champions League after baying for blood just a week ago.

Surely Ben King has had enough of playing with a middle of the table team. Bring him in I say

Based on what he has done so far leaving might not be his choice.

Danger that Freo might end up higher up the ladder if the Suns don't start playing.

Lower I reckon. I hope Freo only win two more games for the rest of the year. If Carlton beat them down they go! Suns will win enough games at home to eclipse Freo.

I'm just talking about today. Suns have dropped 5% already.

I would love to see Carlton stick a woodchip into Freo's season.

I guess Carlton are back. All the glory and fame oozing down from all over the place and streamers falling from the sky.

I prefer Suns. I don’t need to hear Huddo yelling ‘Carlton pounding the bums’.

I guess today is 'flat track bully' territory, but it is in our interests for the Blues to keep hoping so at least they might snare a fluke win over our top 4 competitors for the rest of the season.

We don't want them losing ALL hope just yet.

Still I'm tipping a 13th finish for them.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
