Can't get Petty back quick enough. Down back.

Big ask for Tomo but been ok at times to date.  Very flakey free to Mckay for his last shot

Just an aside. May is killing Curnow. Kudos.

His last two games have been good I reckon

Well don’t get use to Friday night games cos we won’t be getting them again for a while.

Without a big, dominant KPF we're going to continue to struggle. Also behind a lot of the poor I50 entries IMV, no-one quite sure who to kick to. If you have your one big bloke you kick it to him if he's one on one, if he's not you kick to the secondary forwards who will have made space.

Can't see this year being the one, you really need not just the cattle but for everything to go right, and we're losing out on both of those (injuries to Gawn, Oliver, Petty, Salem etc).

Um why did we start Petracca on the bench 🤦‍♂️

All Carlton have to do is attack the footy and hold their marks and they win easily.

Like seriously, what the [censored] am I watching now? This has turned into the Mackay family [censored] reality show!  who gives a [censored] who they are and what they think I’m here to watch football not them. [censored]

Looks poor here how does it look on tv?

Hard to tell as the cameras keep on zooming on the faces.

WTF has happened to our kicking and skill level overall? Pretty ordinary. 💩

For a so called leader Lever gives away some stupid free kicks.

Summary so far: both teams bad but we’re lucky they’ve been worse.

What is up with our kicking? How many times have we kicked it straight to them? That’s not even counting the kicks to dodgy contests. So bad.

Win or lose we need to be A LOT better against the Pies.

If Max wasn’t captain, didn’t have his legacy, and we had an alternate he may be looking at Casey. Very sad fall  from grace. Must be carrying more injuries than we are told. ☹️

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
