So sick of our effortless tackles. We are playing ye olde bruise free footy.

This could get even  uglier.

Rivers was held off the contest then...

Mark No.7 inside 50. Game already has that stench.

This game is a shining example of why we need quick and skilful mids.

Trac, Clarry and Viney would all be 5-10kg heavier than their opposition

Yawn

players not looking “interested “

Friday night footy on the big stage and we are overhandballing once again to no effect

Pre grand final Goody in the wet ball.

Too much mucking around and not enough flow.

When you constantly try to spin around and u turn you’re going to slip and slide and lose numbers.

You can use the ball in the wet but it has to be quick hands to players in motion.

If this isn’t the most pathetic midfield game you’ve seen us play in 3 years I want to know what is

Another game, and another centre clearence slaughter.

A grade midfield and 2 a grade ruckman.

You couldn't script this [censored].

Could? It’s got the brisbane game written all over it.

Are we already done? Jesus Christ what an embarrassment

Mark No.8 inside 50.

We’re just flat track bullies it seems.

Yet another team cranks up the pressure and we fall to bits.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
