How did we let them walk that ball straight into an uncontested mark inside 50??????!!!!

Whoever's playing on Jiath isn't playing him closely enough imv.

Lost Centre clearances- embarassing

Slip over - embarrassing

Hawthorn's quarter. A few very quiet performances

Yep we need more from Spargo, ANB and Chandler for starters.

Deeeesgraceful

Couple of quick goals in that quarter and hawthorn were a different team.

just want to get through this without any more injuries

Dunstall - Hawthorn have "got themselves in the contest " !!!!!

FMD ( twice over ) !!!

Is he wrong?

Lucky to have been outscored by 10. Thank [censored] for Rivers, May, Lever, Hunter, Judd and Jordon in the latter half of that quarter

For all that, they only outscored us by 10 points in that quarter.

Hawthorn's last quarters this year have been as bad as ours have been good.

Don't fret, Demons fans.  We'll be sitting on top of the ladder tonight.

Time to bring back brown or McDonald. I'd probably favour brown. We just need that someone to structure us up. Van Rooyen can't be expected to be the target and sometimes either Gawn or Grundy aren't there. If gawn is there he has about 3 on him anyway

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
