If it’s based on the flaws of the MRO, don’t worry about an essay…………..it would be a thesis.

In 1999, I actually wrote a Master's thesis on the AFL. The Prof sent it to The Age. They wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole.

What was the title of your thesis?

Edit: my dog just reminded me it’s his dinner time. The dog doesn’t wait. He’s the king of the house and my favourite child.

Rightfully so.

“We need more lawyers and umpires in the AFL”

Keeping in touch with Demonland, is keeping me away from the Budget speech.  All credit to Demonland and Andy, for sorting my priorities!

are they deliberately deliberating as long as possible?

Starting to get a little nervous... Thought it would be wrapped up within 30 mins.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

It's Game Day and the Demons face a monumental task as they take on the top-of-the-table Magpies in one of the biggest games on the Dees calendar: the King's Birthday Big Freeze MND match. Can the Demons defy the odds and claim a massive scalp to keep their finals hopes alive?

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
