Pressure from the Eagles has been first rate so far.

Kelly loves to rack them up against us.

Viney needs to start delivering. He’s captain and frankly he’s been putrid this season thus far.

Great tap at the center bounce by JVR

Alot of room given to Darling there by May

It’s not too early to sub Brayshaw off. Gosh he stinks

Playing like absolute millionaires. Absolutely expected.

Stevic up for it. Home town decision.

Need to pull our fingers out here, too many players just coasting atm.

Gary Lyon already getting on my nerves

WC first at many of these contests.... hunting in more numbers than us at present and cleaner / more composed with disposal also

Ok, time to leave the game-day thread. Go Dees!

I’ve been worried about this game all week for this reason. They’ve got nothing to lose. Complacency from us and the constant chatter about how many hundreds we will win by.

We need to treat the Eagles with respect and earn a good win.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
