pies won't die wondering.

They just don’t go away. Will be an extremely hard team to beat this year unfortunately

De Gooey even looks a nuff nuff !

Coz surprise surprise he is

Geelong's defence is very ordinary especially now Stewart is missing, A good attacking side will show them up....big time

I want Geelong to win. Their collective injuries should tell later in the year. Collingwood even without Howe look good, and will be harder to stop.

Profound

Are we watching the game of the season tonight?

Both teams very impressive. As for Nick Daicos 😱😱😱. Reckon he’s got at least 2 Brownlow’s in him. Already a gun.

How is Pendlebury still allowed to complain to umpires non stop, now he isn’t Captain?

I hate Jee-long, and their supporters.

I hate the filth even more, and their subhuman supporters. But I begrudgedly admire their effort ....

Chalk and cheese between last night's game and this. Skills, vision, pace and pressure are all top notch. As much as I can't stand the Cats, their ground level ball handling has been outstanding. Their defence on the other hand has been patchy at best.

Is it season over for Howe?

Twitter was good for a close up photo... 🤮,  it looks mid radius/ulna, hopefully nut humerus (either way not funny)

3-4 months a good outcome

Just a reminder that abuse of players, including opposition players, will not be tolerated.

Does that include Ginnivan?

Surely not a second draw

We can only hope. It’s the least horrible outcome.

Can’t articulate this well but I cannot stand the ‘serious & concerned’ tone the likes of Taylor and other commentators use when a serious injury occurs. One second they’re complete buffoons and the next they’re patronising the audience explaining that a serious injury is serious.

How does Luke Hodge have a job? He literally describes what you’ve just seen.

I know Luke. It’s called Television mate. I can see it.

I can’t believe BT commentates the melees!!!! And more animatedly than the actual match.

Hawthorn gave up Tom Mitchell for peanuts. Could be one of the most stupid trade moves in history. And well done Pies for swooping.

Calling it now.

Geelong look slow, they are missing Selwood & his leadership tonight. Danger has done nothing. In fact his game has been terrible.

There backline isn't much without Stewart. The pies forwards can move wherever they want.

Teams with faster younger players will just run past Geelong.

Pies will run away with this

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
