Geeze that @rpfc can really light up a room with his insane opinions can't he? (Glowingly... Fine)

I really admire the peace and quiet when he's not around. (Admiration... Done)

Law 16: Use Absence To Increase Respect and Honour.

The more present you are, the more common you appear. Create an air of scarcity around yourself to increase your perceived value. If you currently exist within an established group, intermittently withdraw so that others talk about you and admire you more.

THIS DIDN’T WORK

Please note the following comments are an absolute guess - i have zero intel on this, or any evidence to support my guess.

Kozzie will resign. As in in play on at the dees.

It will be announced ahead of the King's birthday game against the Pies as part of a strategy to maximise attendance and increase membership numbers.

It is a home game for us this year and a big crowd will make a huge difference to the club's bottom line.

By the by, the ANZAC eve game is also a home game this year. Both games being our home games is great timing given there are no COVID related restrictions this season.

Pardon my ignorance but I gather Kossie has a stronger connection with SA than WA because his bond or ties to his uncle are stronger than his bond/ties to other family members who reside in WA?

I hope I’m not being disrespectful in asking this question.

I think if he signs they will announce it immediately. You are not getting more people to a game, simply because of a contract extension.

Long as it’s not freo again sick of those guys plus they got nothing left to give, if its wc maybe we can package Pickett and Freo first pick for pick 1

We do.  That means there is no need for you to repost them ad nauseam.

That’s just how I roll, it helps me come to terms with the loss.

Remember that I also posted all through 21 that we’d win the flag and I’m doing that again so it’s not all bad

I squat down, tuck in my head, lean forward and push off with my hands.

That's how I roll.  :D

All the haters may as well take their head, put it between their legs and kiss their stinkin behinds goodbye!

That sounds like instruction of how to have a krap in the bush.

And the advice is not to roll!

Ditto. This bloke is a superstar in the making and will soon start ripping games apart. Exciting times.

Plenty of nonsensical jabbering in here today

Spot on, but that doesn't apply to just today.

If only that individual who feels the need to flood every single thread with multiple posts would think twice before hitting 'send' on whatever random thought pops into their head.

I suppose it depends on the individuals relationship with this medium. Is it to connect and have some sense of online relationship to be validated, or is it to interact and get some useful information . *random thought right there…

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
