Sydney look like they have some sort of Geelong virus circa 2021.

That was the moment Buddy.

He's very Joe Daniher today. Body language and second efforts just rubbish. He's cooked.

Sydney's kicking is shizen.

Cat's should send a posie of flowers to the Lions for such a soft PF run.

This just proves unfortunately how ordinary Sydney are. They need to kick the next two

Ugh, two hate-able sides in a GF so the only consolation is a nail biting finish. And now we’re not even gonna get that! 🙄

Some big names for Sydney have been horrible so far.  Heeney, Blakey, Papley, Warner, Mills.  A lot of scope to improve, but I can’t see it happening.

Any chance the umps could call the frees that are there against the Cats eg;

Danger holding Parker before he took possession

Over the shoulder against Cameron just now on the flank

If Geelong somehow blows this it would be the biggest choke in Football History.

It's the only thing keeping the tv on.

Sydney just need to start laying tackles let alone keep possession

I dont understand that running out of boundary rule that suddenly appeared in the 2nd half of this year, BB was the first time I've had even seen it paid.

At least BT is ruining the match day experience for Cats fans like he did for us last year.

Front in high tackle - no free.
But one to Hawkins now.

Game OVER..... 9 Minutes to go, 2nd Quarter

Glad i extended my Visa for another Month

Sydney have given us all a world of pain

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
