I used to rate Zorko but seriously not just this game but lots this year he’s trying this tuff guy gig and it doesn’t suit him one bit.

And I believe David King just said where 30% better than everyone again.

Coach’s orders?

James Harmes having a very good game on the wing!

I’m guess Fagan’s dog ate his homework.

The no.1 scoring team (against the bottom 6 teams of of the competition).

Neale, Zorko and Cameron all playing for frees, no real leadership.

We have 1 tackle inside 50, probably because the ball keeping flying over the goal umpire's cap.

Percentage watch is going to be intense this weekend.

Good to see Harmes playing....a lot of extra muscle with him...Trac...Sparrow and Viney.

May standing tall.

Gus 17 touches. Oliver 14.

I think Rivers has been good

My $ on kozzie for 7 Sausages.

Possibly but if I am Fagan I am looking for someone else to do that.

You’ve doubled your money tonight Uncle.

Indeed Bombay - the question is how unwisely I'll spend it!

Neale 16 touches Brayshaw 17.

So far, so very very good.

we want second spot so if we play the Swans its in Melbourne, though if we play like we are now we can play there anywhere and win.

Best stat that says it all.

Inside 50s....26 a piece.

How solid is our backline again.

The key now is not winning margin but keeping Brisbanes score low. Ie if both teams kick 10 goals in the second half we lose a lot of percentage.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
