Was in Kuching for 6 months 30 years ago and spent a lot of time in Santabong.

The main reason is that our form is not anywhere it needs to be. Our pressure has been down all season not just the last 7 weeks. Pressure the Dogs and we can beat them. if not they’ll get their handball game going and carve is up.

Our forward 50 connection hasn’t been existent for the the whole year and now we are missing our two KPF and have to rely on Weid that has failed to meet any expectation in the AFL repeatedly over the last number of years. So the slow ball movement will allow Dogs to flood and Weid will have no chance.

Our game plan has also been found out and the coaches have no real plan B that we have seen. They will exploit our zoning probably by tagging one of May or Lever this will lead to the predictable rebound.

Both of our big men have been pretty poor since the bye and we are fumbly in the back half. English is getting better and I think will outrun Maxy. LJ is not impacting the game either.

I can keep going but you get the point. yes there are positives and I do see that but am highlighting the reasons why I don’t think we can get up tonight.

relax, this is some kind of psychosis going on.

It’s a flat & inconsistent time of year for most teams.

We have won 3 out of the last 4.

Lever our, Tomo in - confirmed

Another great result 😭

Obviously we don't want to lose Lever but Tomlinson was unlucky to get dropped after last week anyway so glad to see him get another run.

A small forward as your sub..

Crazy Goody just doing weirdly bizarre things this year..

Chandler was the sub a few times last year, I don't think it's that crazy. Who else would you have, Dunstan?

To be fair we don’t have any talls left. Who would you want to be the sub?

We have enough smaller guys to cover for midfield injuries.

Hoping we move the ball with plenty of angle, so we aren't predictable with the corridor we take and to give the forwards more options to lead into. Hate the straight done the line unless it is quick movement.

Our backline has been working well, not so concerned without lever, it's the forwards that need to inspire.

How great under the roof on such a wet, cold night.

Go Dees

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
