Indeed

I would love to see Sydney rip the blue pretenders apart

Cats have won 2 from last 5 whereas Port have won their last 4 straight

Big games at Kardinia. Carn Port

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bombers get up after being smashed in the media

Carlton

Geelong

Dogs

MFCSS

Saints

Tigers

Giants

Bears

Freo

Looking forward to tonights game. Reckon Carlton will win

my smokey is the suns to beat the dogs in Ballarat

  • bloods?
  • puddy tatts?
  • footscray
  • us
  • aints
  • tiggas
  • gw$
  • bears
  • jokers

less games that i'm not confident about this round than the last couple - the competition definitely feels like it's stretching out between the top few, a chunk of there or thereabouts teams, and then those making up the numbers to a greater or lesser degree

hoping for a cracker of a game today. the pear and gc17 to cause upsets

i'd really like to get some separation from us and the chasing few - particularly bears and freo - but it's easier said than done

I'd love to see the tigs thump the bummers & heap more misery on there supporters.

Tonight will be interesting. Can't pick a winner. Maybe Carlton because it's at home

It’s near the end of the first qtr and the sight of so many happy Carlscum supporters sickens me so bad.

Carlton supporters selling out tonight's game just shows we still have a long way to go.

Certainly loud bunch.

Success starved team on the up with a large supporter base is the perfect combination for a big crowd.

I simply hate Carlton. Seeing them playing well makes me want to puke. Swans looking mediocre at best.

Curnow is getting off the chain. Don;t think Sydney have a match-up for him

I think we may be looking at our main challengers

Voss- can coach

staggering to think of clubs picking the likes of Teague/Shaw etc over Voss over the years.

Should have been a free to Sydney for Kennedy dropping the ball the legging Parker - instead soft free and goal to Carlton!

Is it just me or is Carlton getting a sensational run with the umps?

Sydney can't touch the ball

Getting slaughtered in the midfield

I see Beagle Boy gets another go at the Filth!

Umpires clearly favouring Carltank

Sydney are GORN

If Curnow stays fit he is the best fwd in the comp.
Unplayable and so agile for a key

I think so too.

Their midfield and forward line is scary

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
