Mazer Rackham 14,971 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 It seemed like the boys were a bit thrown by the crisp, accurate lettering on the banner (particularly the exclamation mark) and it took them until the last quarter to shake off their admiration and fully concentrate on football. 1 10 Quote

Gives a much more balanced perspective, bizarrely so much of the AFL media are trying to construct negative views of us rather than acknowledge how remarkable what we are doing is. They'll get over it. Nothing begets admiration as much as a winner, and if we keep winning they will turn. 3 Quote

Mazer Rackham 14,971 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 To the D'landers at the game. Was the ground slippery? It seemed like the ball took many a strange bounce time and time again. Usually to our disadvantage as our boys were in the right spot for a regulation bounce. 1 Quote

Nasher 33,649 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 I felt terrible for Kade Chandler. You’re frequently right on the very edge of the team. You come on with 15 to go and the result well beyond doubt, you have to make every chance to state your case count. He was trying to aggressively defend and he almost got it right, but ended up injuring the player. It was an accident and he seemed shaken. 23 3 Quote

You don’t need to be at the ground to know the ground was slippery, you’d be able to see that from Mars given all the players slipping over. 1 Quote

Beetle 4,739 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 (edited) The best news is we are 5 games clear of 9th with 13 games to play. Dare I say it, looks like we’ll play finals this year guys. Fantastic. Edited May 15, 2022 by Beetle 3 2 Quote

Deedubs 157 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 This is a perfect example of how a trend of not getting out of 2nd gear has now become a habit where we now can't kick goals. It's concerning. The skill level forward of centre was hopeless. 1 2 Quote

Grapeviney 9,929 Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 West Coast looked like they were cruising to an easy victory when they scored that early goal. Thankfully our guys were able to dig deep, re-set, and get the game back on our terms 25 seconds later. 6 2 16 Quote
