I don't hate Frosty but must admit I enjoy watching him have goals kicked on him.

I do hate Essendon - everything about them. But, the 22 blokes in those hideous black & red jumpers deserve credit tonight. That was a tremendous win under the circumstances. Even found myself barracking for them.

Time to give myself a shower & possibly disinfectant treatment. I feel very dirty.

Hawthorn look like a shadow of the side that discovered the blueprint to beating the reigning premiers.

First Carlton won this year's flag. Then Hawthorn won it by showing the football world how to beat us. Maybe Essendon now have one too?

By the time we get to win one (in September), it will be cheapened and diminished by all these other premierships.

Sam Mitchell always looks perpetually smug to me. Maybe not tonight. Hopefully, he'll get a phone call from the all - knowing Jeff Kennett to put a ribbon around today.

Went to Hamden in 1974 for Rangers v Celtic. Although I love the colours (green & white) but resinated with the R's. There were eight of us from various parts from around the world. (Rangers won) and the crowd was amazing. You could not move as we were shoulder to shoulder and one of our party complained of a "warm leg" from behind. Forget getting out for a toilet break. Great time though. Still love watching matches on Youtube. Atmosphere is brilliant.

but resinated with the R's. Must have been quite sticky!

based on this year he'a ahead but this season has been a break-out for him. Finally delivering on the talent he has. It was looking like he wouldn't make the grade

if anything it goes to show that patience is required with talls and perhaps the Weid might come good yet.

Just about to post the same thing. Just watched a Crows player mugged as he chased whilst on the mark. Ump was right on the spot.

What a pathetic bunch of umpires in the Ad/ Car game. Terribly soft decisions holding ball, pathetic attempts to even up once ball moves to backline   Talk about momentum moments Eddy Betts was on to it. Give us a changing of the guard with commentators prepared to speak their mind. Silvanghi always manages to fall over behind the play.Is because he is awkward or such a good player or dirty.

Can someone please shed some light for me please. Fox and media in general stating that West Coast unable to field a full team due to Covid even as yesterday but I read that currently only a couple fall into that category and the rest are injuries. There is even talk of giving them a priority selection. Good God.

All teams go thru injuries but their problems seem to stem inhouse with a lot of their players looking very unfit and susceptible to injuries. Nic Nat springs to mind.

My mind keeps drifting towards a system of TANKING by them. How do others see this?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
