Oh boy...

INS- Bedford, Melksham, Tomlinson, Dunstan, Smith, Brown
OUTS โ€“ Viney, Lever (Health and Safety Protocols)

ย

ย

Edit. Ignore, we're playing Sunday. Shift work is frying my brain.

Is that locked in if they're named in the 18?

So we are playing Brown, Tmac and Weid in the same side?

Smith in for Lever,ย  maybe Dunstan in for Viney?

Why are we having an extended interchange bench for a Saturday game? Has this been happening for all Saturday games this year?

Mostly because the game is on Sunday

At least the boys aren't injured, Lever especially had me worried

It's a Sunday game

You would think Dunstan for Viney, but then I look at the interchange and you canโ€™t drop Harmes, Jackson, Sparrow or JJย

Dont think its lockedย

Goody was very clear that they wonโ€™t be. H/S protocols wonโ€™t change that. Presumably heโ€™s thinking of sending TMac back to replace Lever.

Based on inโ€™s and outs I would have Viney, lever and Weid out and Dunstan, Smith and Brown in.ย

Doesn't Weid being named in the 18 mean he's definitely playing though?

It used to be. But I can't keep up with the Covid rules let alone the AFL ones.

Looks like Viney, Lever and Weideman will go out and Dunstan, Smith and Brown in.

Weid named in the starting 18.ย

They can change this by the Final team listing tomorrow can't they?

Also well done Jayden on 100 games.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

Itโ€™s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle โ€“ perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
