Oh boy...

INS- Bedford, Melksham, Tomlinson, Dunstan, Smith, Brown
OUTS – Viney, Lever (Health and Safety Protocols)

Is that locked in if they're named in the 18?

So we are playing Brown, Tmac and Weid in the same side?

Smith in for Lever,  maybe Dunstan in for Viney?

Why are we having an extended interchange bench for a Saturday game? Has this been happening for all Saturday games this year?

Mostly because the game is on Sunday

At least the boys aren't injured, Lever especially had me worried

It's a Sunday game

You would think Dunstan for Viney, but then I look at the interchange and you can’t drop Harmes, Jackson, Sparrow or JJ

Dont think its locked

Goody was very clear that they won’t be. H/S protocols won’t change that. Presumably he’s thinking of sending TMac back to replace Lever.

Based on in’s and outs I would have Viney, lever and Weid out and Dunstan, Smith and Brown in.

Doesn't Weid being named in the 18 mean he's definitely playing though?

It used to be. But I can't keep up with the Covid rules let alone the AFL ones.

Looks like Viney, Lever and Weideman will go out and Dunstan, Smith and Brown in.

Weid named in the starting 18.

They can change this by the Final team listing tomorrow can't they?

Also well done Jayden on 100 games.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
