The main reason we lost to them last year was we had heavy legs due to training loads and the brilliance of Toby Greene.

No Toby Greene this time. Another regulation 4-5 goal win coming up

Agree, no Toby Greene, no training loads, and no Mummy who definitely made Giants walk taller!

Be interesting to see Pruess against Max, followed by Jackson!

Expecting a solid 5 goal win - even though would love to see a big win, but hard to argue with Demon game philosophy after last years ultimate success!

Go Demons!

Pruess should be suspended  for this match

It was a hard game to sit through we were sitting on the wrong wing and didn’t get to see much action up close. We were lethargic and made a lot of errors whereas they made every opportunity stick. Looking forward to a good win and seeing Max show Preuss who’s the boss.

Pruess won’t be lining up from the looks of things

They have a very, very good midfield, and then no other real strengths. Some individual players have real skill but our defence mindset should cover them.

You are correct. The result is left resting with the umpires; their obvious preference(s) lie time and again with GWS.

What a day this was, thought we might have blown our top 4 chance and it also turned out to be the last time we could go to the G that year. What happened next speaks for itself and it's time to atone for it this Sat.

We missed plenty of opportunities to win this one in the last quarter. Had plenty of the ball but didn't execute well.

We'd only lose one more game for the year after that one too

When going through the replays one by one during the off season I thought that last quarter was one of our best until that time.

We didn't score but we did everything else extremely well

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
