Saints kicked/pressured themselves out of that one, surprised they stayed in it for so long but the Pies are in about to fall off the cliff badly with Pendls and Sidebottom on the cusp.

Umpire killed the game. Surprise surprise.

Biggest arm chop ever and Razor was dead set right in front of it.

Won’t be talked about how that changed the result 2 goal swing, game done.

100% should have been a 5 point game with 2 minutes left. Instead I jump on demonland and lose all interest in a heartbeat.

All I saw tonight was two bottom 6 clubs go at it. Skills and clangers were absolutely horrific.

Dean Kent may have played his last game. That was an absolute shocker.

He was horrendous. St Kilda’s lack of skills was shocking. Truly I cannot understand it from a relatively mature list.

Saints couldn’t hit a target. Horrible connections going forward. Fumbled a lot.

Collingwood not much better.

I do not fear either Team this year.

Glad we missed out on Brad Hill when we had the chance. Coughed it up nearly every time he had the ball for the Saints in that final quarter.

Jack Higgins had an absolute mare.

The reason the Saints have only won one premiership in 125 odd years is because they load up on b graders . . . decade in, decade out.

Wish we had Razor in our game.

Forgettable career i would have thought.

Except that long range goal he kicked in Perth v Weagles (R 22?) to get us into the finals in 2018.
That was pretty good.
But yes, otherwise meh.

Don’t think either of these sides  will make the 8.

Both teams very average...

I think Ratten is in trouble if they keep dishing up this rubbish and I can't see how they won't with that list.

They needed to do a proper rebuild but got way ahead of themselves when bringing in the likes of Hill.

Did we ever get the right Freo wingman.

Expect a Grant Thomas challenge and the s  to hit the fan at some stage of the season.

Max King still can't kick. You don't pay 900K for guys that consistently kick more points than goals.

Couldn’t clunk a mark either.

Coughed it up more than a COVID patient.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
