Has anyone got onto the streaming of the event tonight?  So far I have a black screen.

Just on loop. Waiting for the thing to start. Running late or tech difficulties?

I would be happy with a loop. I still have just a black screen.

Nothing happening on the club website yet but the music they're playing is nice.

Maybe the black screen is the loop, Old.

Agreed - I was trying to Shazam it to find the artist and album but was unsuccessful which makes me think it maybe a live band.

You could be right.

Sounds like it is about to start.

Everyone has been asked to return to their seats.

Guess I'll just have to read another chapter of Maxy's book until they pull their collective finger out.

I like the choice of song. Nice little dig at the doggies

I'm glad Glen Bartlett got some recognition. Nice touch Kate Roffey

Roffey speaks well.

Hope she just made a slip of the tongue and it's not a 202-ew as she initially said.

Bravo Nathan Jones.

Very well spoken, Nathan Jones.

It is difficult for a football person to transcend football. Rare air up there with Smith, Barassi, Flower, Stynes and now Daniher. Feels right.

Surprised not to see May in the top 10 at this stage.

Salem rightfully up near the top. The first half of his season was brilliant.

The Votes After Rounds 1-8

Wow that's a lot of kids doing well in a premiership team.

Also, nice reminder of how well Salem started the season before tapering a bit in the '3rd quarter'. He sure knew when to put on his best game, though!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

It's Game Day and Clarry's 200th game and for anyone who hates Carlton as much as I do this is our Grand Final. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
