Interesting, Spargo comes across as being more mature than what I'd imagined. Though they all do. There's obviously a pattern to the drafting etc. the past few years. Todd Viney's influence?

The Dynasty will be determined about how hungry they are. Nice signs here. Maybe still a little hungover and husky, but nice signs. Go Dees.

Great stories. The amount of crap ive copped from Crows fans for the Lever trade, well there all gone.

Silly, silly little Crow fans, bit off more than they could chew. What's round and gold that hangs around Jake Lever's neck? A piece of footballing history that's what.😂😂😂

Where are you now Texas? Needs to learn how to keep his big trap shut the boy.

Fair suck of the sav. Tex made Robbo's top 50 list, so it's all square heading into 2022.

"That last quarter was incredible"

Ken oath it was! 9 goals to 1 ... over a match that's 36 to 4 and is 186 territory. Over a quality opponent and in a grand final!

And it was the Melbourne Football Club that did it!

GO DEMONS!!!

Unbelievable. That’s the only way to describe it.  And we will REMEMBER it and tell stories to our grand kids !!!!

That's strange the crap did not end after his second season, as we have been a much better side then them since he left them.

Great little videos

The Media Department are doing a great job this whole year.
young Ben Gibson has a long career ahead

Gee Gus really stepped up in the Gf.

Has been solid all year but doesn't really  rip games apart like others. Turned it up three sixty degrees in the big one. Put his body on the line time after time. Miraculously moved from standing next to Bowie when Bowie kicked it and then turned up at the end of it to mark.

Hasnt been great at goal kicking but nailed this one to put us back in front.

Gus sounded like he'd had a few cigars 😁

This may sound crazy , but is Spargs a potential captain? I think so.He is articulate and intelligent. And a premiership player.

Jake Bowey is so Young!!!

But what a cool head under pressure

Great stuff!

I love these little interviews.

Very pleasing to hear that James Jordon is hungry for more success and looking forward to getting back to Pre-Season training for Season 2022!

Words that are unfolding for me as these Tales unfold are quietness, humility, respect, wonder, embrace. What have others got?

Maybe it's the 57 years - we'll see how they are after next year's premiership😉 - but I can't help thinking these boys stand apart for the character of their reflection, from the other teams who have been able to reflect on a premiership.

Sometimes players and supporters forget the band of trainers who go to every game, getting very little reward for their efforts.

The arrive well before the game and stay well after the game and do the training sessions.

When I was at the club the players trained around 5pm to 7pm but we where there at 4pm to 8:30pm 2 days a week and match days we would start with the reserves and senior so we attended at 10am to 6:30pm.

These people should be remember even though they did not kick a goal or handpass to a player but the show does not go on without them.

Maturity beyond their years, selflessness, solidarity. There’s not a single big head amongst them.

  • POSTGAME: Hawthorn

Wayward kicking for goal, dump kicks inside 50 and some baffling umpiring all contributed to the Dees not getting out to an an early lead that may have impacted the result. At the end of the day the Demons were just not good enough and let the Hawks run away with their first win against the Demons in 7 years.

  • NON-MFC: Round 09

Round 9 kicks off out west with the Dockers hosting a Collingwood side resting several stars. Fremantle need to make a statement on their home deck after some disappointing form on the road, while the Magpies will be keen to maintain their Top 2 position. Friday night sees a must-win clash between two sides desperate to stay in touch with the eight. St Kilda have shown glimpses while Carlton are clinging to relevance after a flat start to the season. Saturday’s twilight game at Marvel pits the Bombers against a struggling Sydney outfit. Essendon can’t afford another close match against a lower-ranked side, while the Swans risk sliding down the ladder even further. Up in Darwin, the fourth-placed Suns will look to extend their stay in the top four. The Bulldogs have hit their stride with three big wins on the trot and will be very keen to consolidate on their momentum. The always fiery Showdown looms as pivotal for both clubs. Adelaide are eyeing a spot in the Top 4 with a win, while Port Adelaide’s season could slip away if they drop another game and fall further behind the pack. Sunday begins with a yawn fest between Richmond and West Coast. The Tigers need to bank the points to stay clear of the bottom two, while the Eagles are still chasing their first win of the year. The Giants face one of the league’s toughest road trips as they travel to GMHBA Stadium to face the Cats. With GWS at risk of a third straight loss, Geelong will be eager to consolidate their position inside the eight and start their climb up the ladder. The round wraps up with the top-of-the-table Lions heading to Ninja Stadium to take on the second-last Roos. The Lions should easily take care of the struggling Roos who might be powerless against the best in the comp. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?
