Geelong always do Mad Monday really well.

The theme this year was looking like Woodstock with the long hair/headband.

I'm told it's been changed to Jonestown.

Free Drinks!

I thought you’d been sent to the Demonland Gulag.

All the rapscallions from days of yore are coming out of the woodwork. All we need now is @Moonshadowto return and all will be copacetic!

Lucky Jake Lever decided to grow the mo he has. It’s most apropos for that analogy. 🍕

Bow-chick-a-bow-wow indeed!😆

How good does Saturday morning feel!?!?

Stupendous performance last night by the Dees.  Couldn't have happened in a better way to a more deserving opposition. 3 wins over Geelong in a season. How good is that!  Doing our bit for the wider Aussie Rules community in keeping Dangerfield flagless. So good to have thrice stuck in in Isaac Smith's face that he chose the wrong destination, but so glad he did - I doubt we'd be here if he'd come to us - there's something intangible and special about what Brayshaw brings to the team, and his work on the opposite wing to Langdon has been crucial all season.

Pinching myself that we're in the GF. Only happened twice before in my lifetime. This will be the first time we go in as a genuinely competitive chance. If we play to our best it will be ours.

So proud of what the club has done this year. The coaching and support staff they've brought in, the performances on the field, the smooth change of President, Pert kicking sponsorship goals, stringing 9 wins on the trot to kick the season off, when with BB and Weid injured many thought we could have been 1-4 after the first 5 rounds...

One more game. Give it everything!

Undersold this...55pts.....pffft

I just woke up and I still can’t get over that third qtr. How did we go from 29pts up to 78pts up in a blink of an eye?

That last qtr just felt like a carnival atmosphere. Can you just imagine if we got that far ahead in the GF at 3qtr time? We’d be partying in the grand stands.

Max played one of the greatest qtrs of football you’ll see, but Petracca early in the game and in the first half of that 3rd qtr was unstoppable. It was like we were all watching the most dynamic and powerful footballer of our time turn it on in a prelim.

I’m so glad there’s a bye because that intra-club match sim last Friday will be needed again for the GF after we pushed over Dad’s army with ease last night!

Has anyone noticed that Clarry's mind works faster than his mouth, and he occasionally finds it hard to get the words out during an interview?

Explains why he's so much faster to react within the contest. His mind is a step ahead of everyone else's. Maestro.

Have often thought this too.

One other thing, I thought that was one of the most powerful display of tackling and pressure I’ve ever seen from any team. I was worried about Geelong’s physicality before the game but we absolutely bullied them!!

My son was working so had to message him the scores. Early in the third it was we've just kicked the first 4 goals in 4 minutes, then sorry 5, sorry 6, sorry 7. had to stop there because I was missing bits of the game. He went home to start watching the replay at 11.

I hate Geelong with a passion. Like, I properly hate them. Tune it and barrack hard against them every week. I've never felt physically ill before a game until yesterday because of this. Last night (and Rd 23) have just about made my life complete. Max Gawn is literally the Demons GOAT.

In the immortal words of Mr. Lennon…..Instant karma’s gonna get you. Happy listening, Isaac….

What a great way to wake up for my birthday... Melbourne heading into the Grand Final, whilst also giving Geelong a good thrashing.

Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, Salem, Lever were amazing again last night, as they have been all year. But I was so impressed with Brayshaw's defensive efforts and Bowey's skill and composure from a 7 gamer in a big final. This kid is something!

Soak this feeling up everyone. We don't experience these days often! Go Demons!

I have to report I suffered my own Steven May injury scare last night.

I was blasting Aces High by Iron Maiden 5 mins before the bounce and started running and jumping around getting pumped. Next thing I know I land with my heel closer to the wall than I thought. Ankle rolled outwards, slight pop. The Glenlivet balm I used at the time masked things but it is pretty darn sore this morning. 14 day rehab, could be touch and go.

Wow

Good morning dlanders

And yes that really did happen.

Enjoy the replay

So glad i forgot to cancel kayo

Still on a massive high. Just told my partner that I’m still drunk- she informed me that I didn’t have that much to drink so I guess I’m just high on last nights win. How good is this feeling?!

The 10th of September should be forever remembered as Max Gawn day!!

5 goals!!! 5!!!

Led pretty much by Jack Viney.

Although that tackle by Max (not sure on who but it was in the third...he was joined by Hibberd) was a ripper.

I know they call soccer the beautiful game but that was beauty in chaos like you will rarely see. Gawn with one of the great individual premiership quarters and the list could go on. We have a spread of talent in attribute and age that list managers only dream of building. We have a culture and connection that few clubs ever create. We are in rare air but will still need to beat one more quality opponent to bring it home. Well played number 11, number 5, number 3 #team effort

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
