Nailed it.
ANB did such an important job on Rich and was very good himself with ball in hand.

Oliver

Gawn

Viney

Petracca

Nibbler

Sparrow

6 Trac (a little polish and he would have had 30 and 5)

5 Oliver

4 Gawn

3 Lever

2 Fritsch

1 Viney

People omitting Langdon and Lever is somewhat mystifying.

Still, a good sign that we have a real spread of contributors.

Lever not better than Tommy S ( who was good but not ahead of Lever ).

The MFC match report gives the best as:

Oliver, Petracca, Lever, Viney, Fritsch, Neal-Bullen, Gawn.

Oliver played a 9/10 game in my opinion and there were probably eight players who played 8/ or 8.5/10 games, very difficult splitting up the votegetters many weeks

apologies to Gawn Brayshaw and a few others

I'm struggling to see how Rivers and Brown get votes ahead of Gawn. Or a few others.

Still, if that's how you saw it, so be it.

I thought Brown hit up marking on the HFF together with the way he played with Fritsch was pivotal to the win. Rivers (other than his first quarter blemish) was a great reader of the ball and provided repeat thrusts from half back.

and someone has to miss out. TBH after Oliver and Petracca you could lay a blanket over another 10 or more players.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
