Pissing down rain

Passing shower, I'm ever the optimist. Slippery, not soaking. Hardest at the ball will win. And use your brains when going forward. Nothing fancy, a boot off the ground will do. As long as it's in our forward fifty most of the night.

Yep just move it forward. This game can be ugly

59 seconds in already 2 shirty frees paid by ump 22. Completely missed the fact the dogs had a 3rd man ump in a ruck contest... this is going to be a looong night

Why no downfield hunt pushed in back after kick into fwd 50?

OMG it is bucketing down.
Goals an absolute premium

Did Brown always have that weird ball wobble when he ran in for the kick?

Of course Bont kicks straight.
Our goal kicking will continue to hurt us.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.
