Doggies don't like teams that bring pressure. Tigers, us and now Swans have found them wanting. They look good racking up 100 point wins against bottom feeders but not sure they'll get the ultimate success unless they find a harder edge.

Might have to get on the Tiger train next Friday. If they can beat Brisbane and we get over the line against the Hawks it's hard to see us travelling interstate again after we play in Perth in round 21.

Assuming Richmond and West Coast finish this round in the 8, here's the top 8's record vs the top 8:

  1. Melbourne - 6-0
  2. Sydney - 5-2
  3. Geelong - 5-3
  4. Bulldogs - 4-4
  5. Brisbane - 3-4
  6. West Coast - 2-4
  7. Port - 2-5
  8. Richmond - 1-6

Love it !!! The football “experts” and commentators have been rubbing themselves hard under the desk with excitement for the Bulldogs and the Bont.  Finally shown they are not premiership definites just yet !!

Big round next week too. All 3 opposition matches could help be games clear.. Go Dockers, Tigers and Suns. All have a good chance.

After the Giants loss, I was fully expecting to be 5th by now. Instead we are a game clear on top and 2 games and % clear of 5th. Shows just how important Thursday's win was (and perhaps not to overreact after a loss - every team has them).

If they had their say in the All Australian vote, they’d have Hunt as an All Australian Wingman..

You’re right. But there’s been a tonne of even less necessary threads. And for some reason they’re usually the ones that take off. ?

I was about to ask who the two teams were that we hadn’t played yet. Christ it’s been a long week.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
