I love Joeboy's analysis, but I think it now needs to evolve.  Previous analyses were when we were down, but with players potentially on the rise.  Now, we are playing like a REAL team, minus the egos, as per the Age article.

Re-watch the game... Brayshaw was sensational as the defensive wing.  Don't recall him losing a single one on one, and his 1% efforts were fantastic.  He did everything you could ask him to do without the football.

Daisy Pearce was on the money all game, that he was doing a brilliant, thankless job on the wing.

Sure he didn’t get many touches, but his constant running, spoils and continual putting in for the team cannot be understated.

Give me 22 guys putting in for the team over 22 blokes looking to inflate their stats every day of the week. McCrae had nearly 4x the disposals, yet Gus had nearly 4x the influence on the game.

p.s. Not knocking McCrae (great player), but sometimes it’s the 1%’s that influences the game more.

I understand the commentary around Brayshaw. I think he has been extremely poor the last few weeks and is lucky to hold his spot. Tonight he was much better but usually he is a liability on the wing due to his lack of leg speed. And his kicking skills have been way off. But credit where credit is due, he was efficient tonight.

There's just this lack of confidence with him of late when he's around, or handling the ball. Something seem up with him.

Limited but important Angus was not limited He had many team acts although only 11 disposals. He is doing a great role for the team and supports the HBacks and H Forwards brilliantly.

His disposal was good all night.
