Rabid dogs?

Maybe the AFL can just give us the 4 points after initially taking it away from us last week.

I don’t care if we play to an empty stadium. I hope the quarantine disrupts their preparations. Bring it on.

Default to us as compensation for the fiasco in Adelaide.  Seems about right thanks Gil!

Hopefully they all test negative.

A positive test result would definitely force us into a compacted fixture later in the year.

Also, because if they all test negative they're not battling a potentially life-threatening disease.

Highly unlikely anyone would be positive, but it does interrupt there preparation which can only be an advantage for us.

haha we are a petty bunch.

Don't we want to face a full strength dogs to see what we're made of?

Silly question I know I know...

Ahhhh .... yes ....  of course .... that's definitely what I meant.

Clearly this is GOD punishing the AFL for not committing sufficient resources towards quality umpiring.

  • Demonland changed the title to BULLDOGS IN ISOLATION

They have to do more than just testing there today. Has to be every day for a week at least.

Embarrassing scenario of maybe the two bottom teams playing off in the GF

AFL Rule apparently no spitting, talking or breathing during game by Bulldog

It didn't make any difference to the Swans when they had to isolate nor the Kangaroos.

We'll most likely be in Lockdown by the weekend at this stage. Games might not even go ahead in Victoria.

There won't be a lockdown. Games will go ahead. There will be crowds.

9 cases now. Surely there are no crowds at this point.

If ever there was a (non health related) reason people need to get vaccinated this is it. Population gets vaccinated, it no longer becomes an issue how many cases get reported. Life goes on.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
