Thanks for that.

I just hope it is selling at a price that the whole supporting community can afford.

A lower price product sold in greater volume can produce better returns than a higher price product sold at lower price.

Lets get the demand for this beautiful jumper up to represent the usually hidden supporters.

Most AFL sanctioned and distributed merchandise is provided in very limited distribution compared to other clubs.

Lets own this, club make it easily available, I hope they have plenty at the ground when we play doggies.

Just got the advice from the club. Sent before I had posted.

Well done.

$130 seems pretty steep I hope it doesn't discourage purchases.

As an artist I’ve got to say our jumper is a ripper. Amunda has done an amazing job and should be super proud of the work. I’m excited to get one.

But…
WTF was Port Adelaide doing? I didn’t see them trying to be supportive of emerging engineers when they built the stadium, and just get the work experience kid to build it. Sentiment is given far too much credence in the arts and cultural space. At the end of the day if more organisations supported more professional artists communities would get a better product - and be much more inclined to continue to support funding art and cultural endeavours.

It’s not the kids fault - she’s a teenager and can’t comprehend the cultural and economic reasons why what she did is wrong. Port should know better, and anyone advising them should have told them to get some professionals involved. They aren’t going to play a member of the cheer squad in a forward pocket on the weekend just because it’s a ‘good story’. Bizarre.

Apparently only small and extra large sizes left!

what a beautiful jumper - I’ve got to say the jumpers that are designed for our club for indigenous round are spectacular.

the women’s indigenous jumper this year was so good I bought my 17 year old daughter Casey Sheriffs match day jumper for her birthday....and she loves it!!

Unless you are colour blind, that is not a clash. What a joke.

To be honest though, it seems more appropriate to wear it against the Lions in our game up in the territory.

could wear it more than once ?

Love the Indigenous jumpers each year, all clubs. The story's behind the artwork I find absolutely fascinating. I know little to nothing about aboriginal culture (which is a poor reflection on the education system in my opinion, but I don't want to turn this into a political argument)

The ability for indigenous artists to not only tell a story through a painting but fully articulate that meaning perfectly to non Indigenous people's is amazing.

With the utmost respect each year I see these jumpers and think "it just looks like dots and lines" and then you watch an explanation video and it's so obvious the meaning.

I have no doubt that it is as clear as day the meaning to other Indigenous people's. Amazing stuff.

I guess 30,000(?) Years plus will do that.

Brilliant design. Been meaning to buy one in previous years. Will buy this one

Same here. Assume they'll auction the match-worn ones as well.

I'm a few beers in at the pub (weekend away with the better half)...perfect time for auction bids.

Just want to buy one and have Mayzy and Kozzy sign it but all adult ones sold out

Seemingly some Youth Large still available, that may be best option.

Out of interest, what do player auctioned ones usually gone for?

Why won't New Balance crank more out, beautiful strip - looking forward to seeing it in action

Great Front Bar episode tonight with Kickett & Winmar.  Forgot how good Kickett was.  Amazing highlight reel.  Those torps on the run freakish.  Seems like a great bloke too.  What a travesty he was left out of the 93 GF by Sheeds and missed getting a cup.

I still can’t fathom how the AFL saw a clash with the bulldogs indigenous guernsey, predominant red with bits of navy blue vs predominantly royal blue with hints of red and white. Can only imagine after the ANZAC Day blunder with Pies and Bombers they’ve got skittish.

Anyway it’ll be great to see us where it this round, and if there’s perhaps a opportunity maybe we wear it again if there’s a navy clash.

Loved this years jumper. Definitely looking forward to getting one if possible.

I hope we can wear it again this year. Maybe swap Dees v Giants to Alice Springs for round 16.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
